whoa? what's wrong with ginn. that'd be huge!

and smith goes down way behind the LOS on the sack. big plays so far by the Gator-defense putting pressure on Ginn (versus the OSU defense not putting any pressure on Leak)

I remember it being talked about back when it happened...but that play should be shown to every Little Leaguer/Pop Warner kid, regardless of sport.

Looks like the injury bugs have been setting in...

NOTE: if you don't have tv for some reason, the game is available online on a lot of the free online tv watchers, I'm using the TVUplayer, little grainy but works like a charm

So, is this because Florida is better, or the fact that OSU has not played a game in 50 days?

I have no point, really. Everybody always says the SEC is the best football conference, and I'm sick of it.

Troy Smith looks out of sync. Kind like Vinny Testaverde did in the 87 Fiesta Bowl. Smith only needs 4 more INTs to catch up to Vinny.

This is probably a stupid question, but how was that DB down when no one touched him?

In college football, when you're down, you're down. No touch needed.

seriously, you can look it up anywhere, i've always said Leak has the best touches on his passes of any college QB I've ever seen. He seems Manningesque in letting things get in his head, but damn if he doesn't have the best looking passes.

Florida hasn't played in 40 days and they look very sharp. Maybe Meyer is a far better coach than Tressel.

st. cronin - fwiw, and this is why I really want to leave it out of this thread (i know I gave the last nudge) I don't necessarily think the SEC is the best conference.. I think they are at the top along with a couple of others, I just get mad when some people in trying to say they're not the "best" act like they're not actually good at all which to me is obviously not true.

That's a pretty bold statement. I think it may have to do with Florida really playing the underdog role. Ohio State looks like it is playing not to lose thus far.

However, I would think that even the biggest bowl proponent would agree that these breaks are just far too long, right?

For all the House fans, Jennifer Morrison, who plays the cute Dr. Cameron, is engaged or got married to the guy who plays Chase. I can never watch the show the same again.

I dunno...I've never had a very good opinion of Tressel, so I'm not the best person to try and compare him to Meyer. As for the game, I think it's just a case of OSU not being as unbeatable as everyone has said all season and Florida not being as unworthy as the media have been claiming for the past month.
