As being the one Shorty was talking to online, I confirm that conversation that the Chief posted did indeed take place.

You say it's not OK for me to come back under a different name. OK. Cool.

Is it OK for SkyDog to reset my post count to 0, that way I get a fresh start in that regard and a chance to build a post count based on "Quality Posts?"

All that stuff about post counts was just silly and I could care less about it. But I think I'd be OK if SkyDog reset me to 0.

If it matters to you psychologically, I don't suppose it would be a big issue. I have no idea why it would be, though. It's not the counter that matters, but the quality of the posts.

And the Village Idiot thing really didn't bother me too much either. To be quite honest, I sometimes do feel like a village idiot.

Anyway, you're right it's the quality of posts that counts. And I've had my share of doozies.

And before anyone whines about "why was he banned just for that?" Just like all of the problem causers who have eventually been banned, this was a "lifetime achievement" banning. There is such a thing as a straw that breaks the camel's back.

OK, so is there a single member here who didn't see this one coming? This was as easy as predicting Ken Griffey Jr would get hurt.

Actually it almost always happens this way on this board. Respected and Respectful User poses a question that he has about a modding decision. Rabble-Rouser can't resist getting in a word or 20 edgewise, and turns the attention on himself and his past issues. Mod gets fed up and finally says, "ENOUGH" to Rabble-Rouser. Rabble-Rouser gets suspended or banned. Rinse. Repeat. I think a large percentage of the suspensions/bannings of the usual suspects have happened exactly this way.

So in a way, my posting of perverted animal sex lead to the banning of skippy! Who would know Jif is not only delicious, but saves an internet message board as well!

Yes, but to be fair, none of his material contributions to the thread were worth reading.

Does anyone else get really disturbed when Fritz posts excitedly about large animals?

Back in early 2001 I had that one thread, you know, it was worth a read.

Plus in this thread I dropped an F*bomb. That is always worth reading.

As for his lady friend, there are plenty of big-haired sluts in Milford.

Now I'm forced to amend that by saying that except for topics about the Big 10, the Angels and the size of various parts of my anatomy, everything Chief Rum says goes double for me.

As for Marm getting the credit for the banning of kippy, sure he started the thread and then wandered in halfway through and called us all fuckers, but other that he was dead weight. Much like the Baltimore Orioles in the RWBL.
