I'm waiting for him to tell us that the girl's assertion that Big Ben doesn't live up to his nickname is untrue.

That would have been devastating for the Steelers if he had run that thing back 101 yards for an INT return. Why the hell didn't he lateral? Last edited by Galaril : 09-10-2009 at 09:11 PM. |

He's been in the slot. He was injured (hamstring) and was probable for tonight. Quote:
Cause the guy in front (Michael Griffin I think...) was supposed to block. Good game so far Steelers, ya'll are fortunate we've been screwing up though. Score should be 7-6 (maybe even 7-13). Great job for picking up our line stunts though as the half went on. I'm impressed... But we're gonna start blitzing soon though... Good luck :P

My brother in law called it an MCL sprain right as it happened. Alge Crumpler fell on his knee as Polamalu tried recovering the blocked kick. We'll see...

It sure is. Need to improve O-line play, secondary play, and the running game. Oh, and limit Big Ben to, say, 12 pump fakes per series.

You know, I don't really have a dog in this fight except that I still am pretty bitter about Bud Adams for stealing my team away. But Pittsbugh seems awfully full of themselves, at least in the time I have been watching. Granted that has only been the last 5 or so minutes of the game and OT, but, the bragging about first downs is really getting old. Maybe it's just a product of the trophy and ring thing tonight, tho.

In Non Steelers-Titans news:
Apparently the Raiders have confirmed that the Seymour trade is complete, as they have sent Seymour his five day notice, if he fails to report, he will be suspended for the year without pay.

If the Steelers can't run the ball at all, ever, they are going to struggle to win the division.

I have a hard time seeing Seymour win this one. If he doesn't play along, Al can just sit him for a year and Seymour won't move towards free agency. I could see Al saying "You play with us, or no one" pretty easily. Who is going to blink first between Davis and Seymour? I'm not sure that Davis even has eyelids.

Don't forget how the Steelers line looked like crap last year after the Eagles sacked Ben 15 times in one game. They have time to turn it around.

NFL owners tend to take a hard line on this issue - if they let players nullify a trade by not showing up, they effectively give all NFL players an absolute no trade clause without collectively bargaining it (and getting something back in return). Both teams (and the entire league) would give up Richard Seymour before they would give up the ability to trade players they have under contract.

They really should just go uptempo and pass a lot. The steelers line sucks. But their 2 top receivers are good at making reads

You do live in Buffalo. He was referring to the cities, not their respect National Football League teams. Research yourself before you try to defend yourself.

Uh, you do realize Pittsburgh is a city and not just some adjective modifying the word Steelers, right? You didn't say "Fuck the Steelers", you said "Fuck Shitz-burgh", so muns reply was a reasonable interpretation of your statement and, as we all know, author's are responsible for any reasonable interpretation of their works.

Ok, I know you're really not this stupid. SO honestly, you protracting out this argument just to be a fuckwit is rather silly. No shit it is also a city, however, we're in a thread about the NFL, we're talking about two teams playing on opening night, one of which is the Stealers. Now in all seriousness, if you can't figure out I'm talking about the team and not the city then you're about as bright as a dead light bulb buried in that landfill the stealers call home There are two options here A) muns knew exactly what he was doing and is simply an asshole looking to rile me up, or B) he honestly thought I meant the city and in such a case needs to learn to comprehend what he reads. Either way I'm not the dipstick in the situation and I corrected the initial error by said poster. Stop causing problems =) |

I'm honest. I treat you all the same. If you're a dumbass I will treat you as a dumbass. If you're not I will treat you accordingly. I don't play the touchy feely play nice bunny-loving treehugger candy ass bullshit that everyone seems to think is required around here. If you want to call me out on something you had best know what the fuck your talking about or I'll slap you in the face with your stupidity. I expect the same from everyone in return. just be prepared and have your shit straight. is that too much to ask? |

No see, there is civility, which I've shown you even with your obvious choice to continue trying to get me to blow up about this. Muns insulted my home, out of the blue, with no intent OTHER than to insult me directly. I'm assuming he had nothing better to go with so he got personal after I insulted the stealers. I don't have to be Civil in that scenario. I don't have to play nice. I don't have to conform to you personal view of ass kissery. Get over it. Or if you'd rather not, join the others that ignore my posts altogether and save yourself the embarrassment. |
