Atari Bigby has made an name for himself around the league in the 2nd quarter alone. He is much improved since the begining of the year. I still rip on the guy some but he really is developing into a damn good safety.

It's still a long game, but the Packers look pretty good when they don't turn the ball over.

lol. The thing is, I told somebody in the Democratic nomination thread that I wouldn't get excited as easily anymore. Anyway, the Packers did a great job on that drive bleeding the clock and Favre is just playing awesome. 15/19, 133 yards, 2 TDs, and that awesome escape and underhanded pass to Donald Lee

That's ok, I'll take all of the heat. But let's not dwell on who said what and when. Let's talk about the game! The Seahawks are getting absolutely no pressure on Favre. They only have 1 sack thus far and Favre hasn't made any mistakes. Seattle needs to find a way to get to him because he has all day to throw. After those 2 fumbles, Grant has dominated. He has 91 yards and 2 TDs. On offense, Hasselbeck is playing well but as we expected, Seattle's running game is non-existent. Alexander has 6 yards on 6 carries. I think Seattle is a team that has relied on the turnover all year. They'll need to continue that trend if they are to win this game.

I just thought it was a funny comment man, relax. Plus, back on page one or so I quoted both you and Arles when I commented about how I wasn't giving up on things yet. Don't worry, it's not a big deal to me. It has made this thread pretty entertaining today actually.

Packers radio broadcast rocks even while watching the game. Just heard about how after the 2nd Grant fumble McCarthy chewed him out some, and when he was done rookie WR James Jones gave it to him even worse I guess. After going over and sitting on the bench by himself for a few minutes he got up and walked over to the offensive line a THANKED each one of them and told them to just give him another shot at it.

Not sure I get the thanking, maybe he just didn't want to say sorry.

Arles, it was funnier coming from you because you are usually pretty level headed and logical with your posting about the Packers. Notice I said posting only, since I have no idea how many holes you have put your head through at home.

Good qualifier as I often enjoy punching a few holes at home - esp when watching GB in the postseason. Early on I was having flashbacks of that Rams game, thankfully the Pack recovered. As an aside, GB is really using the RBs in the passing game today and it's opening so many things up. Here's hoping that stays as a main cog in their playbook.

Brandon Jackson is becoming a player to watch as well as Grant.

He was supposed to be what Ryan Grant has become. A crap start and then injuries gave Grant his shot. Jackson has really improved the last 4-5 weeks though and I am glad to see it.

Basically, ever since Seattle has gone up 14-0, they've done nothing right. The Packers are doing a great job of executing, but Seattle's defense is turning in a pitiful performance vs. the run and pass. Grant seems to go for at least 6 yards a carry. Almost no pressure at all on Favre. Meanwhile on offense Seattle hasn't exactly been clicking either. They've moved the ball a bit, but can't sustain drives because the Packers have been able to get pretty good pressure.

Barring a miracle, it looks like it will be the expected GB-Dallas rematch next week. Yes, Dallas will win. Don't believe the hype like before the first two times Dallas and NYG played (Romo can't come back from his playoff gaffe, The Giants are the hottest team in the NFC).

Don't know about that... Seattle can't run while Grant just ripped off a 41 yard run.

If the Packers score here I can't see Seattle getting 3 TDs in the 4th and stopping GB.

Grant and Jackson look like different guys out there. Also a big hats off to the GB OL. Seattle hasn't touched Favre and the backs have been getting lanes to run in all day.
