Regarding the attempted molester on Different Strokes, it was Newman from Seinfeld.

Look who drafted Newman, and all will become clear.

I was trying to say it was the same character, to enhance his voting appeal.

Anyway, I was referring to Will and Uncle Phil from Fresh Prince. I thought Uncle Phil was one of the strongest dads I could think of. He's a good father to his children, but also takes in Will and on several occasions acts as such a strong father figure. Will, for wild card I guess.

No George Papadopolous pick for Dad?
Or Webster himself, I guess as wildcard, not sure where else he'd fit. Also, a great show that was under-utilized here was Cheers. I think only Sam and the bar as location went. If the friend category was more of a friend/sidekick, Woody should have gotten some consideration. Or Robin Colcord as villian.

Here was the list I had for "best available" post-draft. It took a lot of hits over the last few rounds.
Dad: Jason Seaver Mom: Carol Brady Brother: Niles Crane Sister: Kimberly Drummond Pet: Astro Best Friend: Jack McFarland Bad Guy: Ari Gold Wildcard: Norm Peterson Housekeeper: Lurch Location: Arnold's Drive In |

Making a family from Cheers is a little difficult. Carla works for mom I guess, and maybe Norm for dad? Did he have kids, I can't remember? Robin Colcord is a weak villain I think. Woody might have been a good friend of lead, or wild card.

Most of those are really good. Carol Brady and Jason Seaver are surprises as far as leftovers go. Arnold's Drive In I believe is taken in the whole "Wisconsin" pick.

Sabrina the Teenage witch would've been good for sister/daughter. Paired with Jeannie from I Dream of Jeannie...
I was seriously thinking about picking J.R. Ewing as a bad guy. I was also thinking about Nancy Botwin from Weeds as a Mom. |

This is what was left on my list at the end...
Buddy Lembeck, Charles in Charge - Best Friend Lindsay, Freaks and Geeks - Sister Darlene, Roseanne - Sister Blossom, Blossom - Sister Kimberly, Diff'rent Strokes - Sister

Could have paired her with somebody from the Cosby Show and dominated the "opening credits dance-off" category.

I think if you compare a lot of the "leftover" picks to most (but not all) of the people that were selected, they just don't out-do the ones that were.

Yeah, this is one of those drafts where there are TONS of leftovers and past a certain point in most categories what's "better" is likely to just come down to how many of the voters were fans of these shows as a kid. |

I'm still trying to get over Blossom being missed. Guess it just shows that it was a bunch of guys doing the drafting. Probably why we had such a hard time with the sisters pick.

My wife suggested Punky Brewster, I considered her, but more of a girl choice also and she didn't have any siblings.

I think Jackie from Roseanne would've been a great sister pick.

Lurch as housekeeper would have been a better pick than several I saw was taken.
