The Hillbillies themselves were Buddy Ebsen as the widowed patriarch Jed "J.D." Clampett; Irene Ryan as his mother-in-law, Daisy May "Granny" Moses; Donna Douglas as his daughter Elly May Clampett; and Max Baer Jr. as his cousin's son Jethro Bodine.

I dunno if I ever knew that.

then Samantha had a brother because Tony and Angela were together throughout the show and when it ended. And I'm pretty sure Jed was Jethro's legal guardian, so he and Ellie May were like brother and sister. I think all 3 picks are fine, but technically maple leafs was right.

No, Jed was Ellie May's father and Jethro's uncle, though he took care of them both.

Like I said, I think all three picks are fine. All three were non traditional family systems, but within the dynamic on the show, all three were basically siblings.

Ah, I see everyone picked bad guy, so I am safe to say I should've picked COL Klink as my bad guy instead of Joy Turner, but oh well.

10.8 Ethel Mertz, I Love Lucy - Best Friend

Lucy and Ethel were a great team. In fact, perhaps the most memorable I Love Lucy moment doesn't even involve Desi. It is the chocolate factory scene where Lucy and Ethel fall behind schedule as the conveyor belt starts moving too fast for them to keep up.

For my final pick, I go into the category of 'sister'. This is another definite outside the box pick, but in the realm of sitcoms it makes perfect sense. My pick is:

10.10 Buffy Wilson, Bosom Buddies - Sister

This character is the 'sister' to Tom Hanks' Kip Wilson, when he needs to keep his female identity in place, and not get kicked out of the all-women's hotel where he is staying. This construct was a key reason the plot was able to work. Plus, it gets Tom Hanks on my team.

woot! Now we can talk picks that we thought should have been made.

I really thought someone was going to take Lurch in the Butler/Housekeeper/Nanny category.
