First time I've noticed this. Great stuff.

Happy to be the hardcore champ. And I'm glad I've given that no good cheater sachmo and his buddy swaggs a bit of their own medicine.

He reaches out of the ring for Marmel...and gets clobbered with the ring bell! Right to the head! The referee looks up to see Marmel sliding in and making the pinfall. The referee calls for the bell though! He's disqualifying Marmel, he must have seen the ring bell shot! The match is over. Marmel grabs the referee, then nails him with a right hand! If you notice, Marmel is now a heel like you. So, unless I turn him back or you go face, not in the near future.

MARCH 1, 2004

Two more promotions have gone bankrupt. The wrestling world is down to 21 promotions. We get one new sponsor and we should be in the black for the 1st time at the end of this month.

Gold and Dr. McCoy were nearing the end of their contracts. We were able to work out verbal 2 year deals for both. I sign a new 18 year old, Dangerous Dave. He is a Face and I get him to agree to a 1 year verbal deal and I send him to development camp. His charisma and other stats are pretty good except for his over rating. I will probably bring him to the active roster in a few months.

The new rankings for the roster are: Face, Coffee Warlord, Digamma, Afoci, Revrew and Gold. Heel, Illinifan, Sachmo, Tucker, NevStar and Marmel.

BACK FOR MORE Sunday, March 28, 2004

Before the show I get word that Gold was injured. He has a knee injury and will be out for about 16 months. Was Erik Flamebeard involved? Hmm.

I hear you Coffee. I'm just waiting for our promotion to be a profitable so I can expand the roster. Don't forget, our ultimate goal is to dethrone the WWE and Vince from the top of the wrestling world. Just think, someday it could be Coffee Warlord vs. The Rock for the Unified World Championship. Maybe.

We start out our live broadcast with one half of our acting commissioners taking the microphone.

Erik Flamebeard comes to the ring. The crowd is booing him profusely. “Thank you. But, with my co-commissioner out of action I have a lot of work to do. My 1st order of business tonight is to call Coffee Warlord out here. Come on Coffee, I’ll wait.” We wait for a couple minutes and then the music of the Coffee Warlord hits and he comes out wearing both the ZFLW Lightweight and Hardcore Titles.
Coffee grabs a microphone. “What do you want Flamebeard?”
“Now now. Let’s not get hostile. First I’d like to say congratulations on your win last month.” Coffee looks at him disbelievingly. “Albeit, I think you got lucky. Anyway, while I’m running things around here my word is law. I made last month’s title vs. title match with the intention of you losing the Lightweight belt. You are an undeserving Champion.” A chorus of boos drowns out Flamebeard. “So, in the interest of fairness to the rest of the ZFLW roster, I am stripping you of the ZFLW Hardcore title and declaring it vacant. You can keep your Lightweight title for now. Although you will be defending that title tonight. Now hand over the Hardcore belt or I’ll suspend you right now.” The crowd is going nuts.
Reluctantly Coffee hands over the belt. “Now why don’t you go back to the dressing room and prepare as you will be facing Tucker in a rematch for the Lightweight title in our main event tonight.”
As Coffee leaves Flamebeard continues his speech to the crowd. “Now that that is taken care of, on to my next order of business. We need a new Hardcore Champion. So, here tonight we will have two 4 corners matches. The winners of each will face off later for the Hardcore Title.” He finishes and leaves.

I had 2 staff members with contracts expiring. I am Justice, our referee and Roadie our road agent. I resigned both to verbal contracts. I really need better staff but no one will come to our promotion with high ratings yet.

The trainees are coming along.

The new rankings are: Face, Digamma, Coffee Warlord, NevStar, Afoci and Revrew. Heel, Sachmo, Tucker, Swaggs, Marmel and Illinifan.

Sorry for the delay. I have been real busy.

JUNE 1, 2004

To start the month we get some bad news. Illinifan and Digamma both had their contracts expire. I tried to resign them both but they wanted to move on to bigger promotions. I tried a lot more money but no go. I put them on my short list to keep an eye on them. Maybe when the ZFLW gets bigger we can get them back.

The new ratings with Digamma and Illinifan gone are: Face, Coffee Warlord, NevStar, Afoci, Revrew and Gold. Heel, Sachmo, Swaggs, Tucker, Marmel and Erik Flamebeard.

The Hardcore Title is now vacant.

Sigh.

Another wannabe contender who resorts to underhanded tactics to defeat the one, the only, the Coffee Warlord.

Well, I settled my dispute with illiniscum, and I'll settle it with you, Tucker. Watch your back, little man. The one, the only, the Coffee Warlord does takes no survivors.

No one has signed Digamma or Illinifan yet. Maybe when we rise to small level we can.

JULY 12, 2004

Good news. Our public image went to 100% and we have now risen to small level. We are at 9% public image at this level. This has opened up a lot of new opportunities for us. I have a lot to get through so let’s get started.

Digamma and Illinifan are now willing to sign with us if they are moved up the card to main event status. I am able to sign them both to a verbal contract. Welcome back. Every active worker on the roster is at the main event level now except Swaggs and Tucker. My staff doesn’t think they are ready for that level yet.

When moving up to small level new sponsorships have opened up. I have to terminate two of the contracts to open up spots. But I make up for it with two bigger sponsors. Our total sponsorship money for 4 sponsors now comes to $292,000.

I raised ticket prices to $10. I raised production values to 15%. We also have staff up to 40 talent interested in us. I sign 3. Larry Rivera is a 39 year old announcer. He has 32 for talent. Our two announcers are at 20 talent. I sign him to a 3 year verbal deal worth $9,000 a month. Shaun Taylor is a 28 year old writer and also a booker. He has 31 for talent. He signs a 4 year, $5,000 verbal contract. One of our writers’ contracts is coming to an end in three months. He has 20 talent. I will let him go at the end of it. Bart Porter is a 27 year old trainer with 34 in talent. I sign him to a 2 year, $6,000 verbal deal. Our current trainer is let go. I spend $1 million to improve our training camp. With the new staff member and improved camp, our trainees should improve faster.

It is going to be a fun time for ZFLW in the future.

We made $108,000 last month. Our 1st month with a pretty good profit.

My writers have told me that Swaggs act is going stale. He will be the 1st on our roster with a gimmick. I made him a Lackey, someone who does deeds for another. In this case for Erik Flamebeard.

The new ratings are: Face, Digamma, Afoci, Revrew, NevStar and Coffee Warlord. Heel, Sachmo, Marmel, Swaggs, Illinifan and Tucker.

Coffee Warlord showed up very late for our last show. I will give him the same chance I gave everyone else. The first time I’ll let it go.

I've simmed up until Dec. I just haven't had time to do the write ups yet. My plan is to try to get all the training camp guys in at the start of the new year. I want you guys to develop as much as possible. It won't be long now.

Remember you are a face. You are supposed to get beat up for a while. Then sooner or later the good always comes out on top...Wait a minute. That didn't sound too good.

SEPTEMBER 1, 2004

Writer Stephen King and Production Set Up Man have expired contracts. I will let them go. I get another writer, Derek Buds has 35 talent and I sign him to a 1 year verbal contract worth $5,000 a month. I sign 2 production workers, Sue Parker has 33 talent and Julian Skinner has 39 talent. Both are signed for $10,000 a month with Sue getting a 2 year verbal and Julian getting a 3 year verbal contract.

Sachmo and NevStar have one month left on their contracts. I try to resign them but they want to move on to bigger promotions. I’ll short list them and maybe later on I can get them back. The Afoci has 4 months left and he also wants to move on. Illinifan I am able to sign for 2 more years.

I hire a second trainer to help get these guys ready for the big time. I might need them soon with 2 leaving and one on the way. I sign Tim Coors to a 1 year, $5,000 verbal contract. He’s nothing special with 32 talent. But maybe he can help.

I recalled Dangerous Dave from development. He is a face.

NOWHERE TO RUN Sunday, September 26, 2004

We start out with a dark match with Dangerous Dave making his debut.

Sachmo has the victory, and isn't hanging around for Dangerous Dave to look for revenge. Rating: 1\2 star.

Crowd Reaction - 33% , Match Quality - 64% , Overall Rating - 48%

We get a camera shot of the backstage area. Coffee Warlord is his locker room preparing for tonight’s event. In comes Flamebeard's Followers.
“Take it easy Coffee.” Flamebeard says as Coffee starts to get up to defend himself.
“What do you want?”
“I wanted to tell you how impressed I’ve been with you lately. I also wanted to offer you a once in a lifetime offer. You can join us and not take a beating every month.”
“You just want me in the group because I have the ZFLW Lightweight Title and even when I don’t I am a threat. No thanks.” Coffee says as he stands up.
“I implore you to reconsider.”
“Hmm, let me see. No!”
“Have it your way.” Flamebeard's Followers then attack and leave Coffee Warlord down on the floor. “Oh, and tell Digamma to watch his back, he is next.”

Nevstar and Sachmo are now free agents. Just for the heck of it I try to sign them. Surprisingly they resign. NevStar for 6 months and Sachmo for a year. I also resign Erik Flamebeard to a 2 year/$14,000 contract. He had 2 months left on his contract.

My writers tell me Revrew’s act is getting stale. I change his gimmick to a legitimate athlete.

I ended one sponsorship deal early and took a loss. That’s to sign another more lucrative one. Our total sponsorship money is $344,000 per show.

I sign a manager to the roster. Erin Bray is a face who will offset Flamebeard’s control until Gold returns from injury. Also, who will she manage? Find out later.

The new ratings are: Face, Erin Bray, Digamma, Afoci, NevStar and Coffee Warlord. Heel, Sachmo, Marmel, Swaggs, Illinifan and Tucker.

I graduate three of the training camp workers but immediately send them to development camp. Katon, Kodos and BishopMVP are in development camp. JeeberD, Shorty and Bertogarce are still in training camp.

We are still making about $100,000 a month. I hire another referee and release I am Justice. He had only 20 talent anyway. Richard Wade had 38 talent. I sign him to a 3 year verbal deal worth $10,000 a month.

DEADLY GAME Sunday, November 28, 2004

Dangerous Dave is in the ring getting ready for his dark match. Swaggs comes running down the aisle and into the ring, and they begin brawling. Swaggs can barely stand. Dangerous Drop!!! That shook the ring. While Double D is laying Swaggs out, Marmel comes out of the crowd and hits the ring. He attacks Double D as well, and they brawl in the ring. Dangerous Dave manages to get an advantage, and throws Marmel to the outside. Out from the back comes Tucker, and he jumps Dangerous Dave too. Marmel \ Tucker double team Double D for a while, and then Swaggs, having recovered, joins in and they triple team him. The beating continues until a host of officials hit the ring and pull them away. Flamebeard’s Followers have struck again.

Rating 49%

Erin Bray comes down to the ring and takes a microphone. She announces that she has a new client. Out comes Coffee Warlord, and he shakes hands with his new manager, signaling their alliance. They pledge to put an end to Flamebeard and his Followers.

Sachmo is backstage doing an interview about his upcoming title shot. The rest of Flamebeard’s Followers come out. “Where were you during that last match?” Flamebeard asks.
“ I was getting ready for this interview.”
“You allegiance is to us. You should be backing us up.”
“I have a title shot tonight.”
Tucker steps in. “Have you forgotten who has the title? We are all in this together. You’re not really going to go through with this?”
“Tucker, I earned this shot. I realize that we are all working for the same goal. But I deserve to have this opportunity.”

We keep making a little money every month. But our public image dropped to 29%. That’s because the popularity of wrestling is in a lull period.

I recall all of our development and training camp workers. I need an infusion of new talent to spice things up.
