I can understand them throwing Theismann in there as (despite being an idiot) he has broadcasting experience seeing as he used to regularly do the Sunday night game. What i DONT understand is #1 - who thought Joe Gibbs would be a logical 3rd person in the booth and #2 - who the hell agreed and ok'd the decision....

There are a total of 4 games this weekend, with the majority of the NFL season over and the college season completed.... and you couldnt find a better 3rd person who has, you know, actually announced a football game for a freeking NFL PLAYOFF GAME?!?!

I thought this game would be fairly boring anyway with the strong running game/defense mentality of both teams, but ugh...... these guys are not helping

Yeah, Gibbs, besides stumbling over every 3rd word, just doesn't have a voice that's appealing to listen to. It's fitting that he was involved in NASCAR, cause he sounds just like one of those drivers talking through the static-y radio.

I was watching earlier and thought "is that Joe Gibbs? What's he doing in the booth?" Glad to confirm it was indeed him.

Glad I' not the only one who thinks the announcing is an embarrassment. You would never know this was a playoff game.

The announcing is almost as embarassing as going into a playoff game without a punter on hand.

So far the Bengals are winning the big categories; turnovers, penalties and drops.

btw- What the hell was that kickoff?

Please let this loss bring the joy of a Bratkowski firing. This offense is painful.

Looks like Palmer went to Jamarcus Russell's Quarterback School.

I hate that penalty. What's the defender supposed to do, kiss him? His foot wasn't even on the ground yet.

Damn, Steven Hawking can kick field goals better than the Bengals kicker.

Do the Bengals think there's another game they have to play next week? Wow, what a way to choke at the end of the game.

nice choke job there Cincy. I'm sure the GM will hand that kicker a pink slip as soon as he enters the locker room.

Yeah, Graham's had some good years but I can't see him playing for them after this year. He has been terrible. It'll be like Vandercrap in Indy.

Because of all the snap problems at the start of the season, I wonder if that plays with his mind at all. Just thinking...is the snap going to be good this time and not focusing on the kick.

I have zero faith in the Eagles against the Cowboys. They are an awful matchup for this team.

I guess defenders aren't allowed to defend against the pass.
Gift TD, with that horrible PI call.

Why? He hit him before the ball got there. One of the few decent PI calls I've seen. I'm amazed they had the guts to call it.

And Vick throws a 76-yard TD strike as I'm typing that last post.

No, Jbergey, he threw at least 1 earlier in the year, I think he has thrown a few.
