Hmm, is this draft clock bug then one where the timer will keep going down no matter what, and never reset itself? So it'll eventually go all nuts and auto-pick people since everyone will have a time remaining of 0:00?

I e-mailed support and haven't heard anything back yet. Worst case scenario, I'll just shut the clock off. I'll mess around with it in the morning when I have more time. To do anything now I'd need to suspend the draft.

Oh yeah, no problem. I just thought I remembered it doing that last year. Good to keep an eye on the clock when it gets down to an hour or so.

Eatel, my local internet/phone provider, just demonstrated some excellent customer service. My phone/internet line was knocked out this morning by landscapers. I called this morning and was told it would be repaired by Weds at 6:00 PM at the latest, but there was a small chance they would get it to Tuesday if a repairmen finished up early. I just got home and they have already laid a new line and service is restored. I'm not sure if they are available outside Louisiana or even this part of Louisiana, but they just earned my recommendation to any of my friends.

edit: Now that I know my work blocks sportsline, I'll be setting my lists tonight and shouldn't hold things up if I'm at work when it gets to my pick.

I remember that... I really, really hope they have a workaround or have found a way to fix it.

Wow... I just realized what a boneheaded move Travis Henry was with MJD still out there... just... wow.

I don't think MJD still being available makes it that bad of a pick. I'd be more leery of Shanahan's inclination to play musical running backs.

I'm not sure whether I'm happy or not that Portis fell to me. I think I'm happy. Now as long as JAG doesn't pick both of the guys I want next, I'll be happy

Well, it's a keeper league. I'm sure Henry will be as valuable this year (and musical running backs is the case when there is actually some talent behind the starter ), but going forward, he's not a "keeper" pick.

I should be set on autopilot for when it gets to me, at least for my 2nd pick. If someone can let me know who I end up with, I'd appreciate it.

Yeah I think it'll take whoever is ranked #1 by Sportsline. I remember one year a guy left his team for awhile, and he ended up with like 4 QBs.

I think it will pick whoever the highest ranked player remaining is.

What tends to happen is people get a roster with 7 quarterbacks

Ouch, I didn't realize that.. I thought it would just give me until my time limit. I hope we don't get to the 3rd round 5th pick before I get home from work at 5 PM.

I'm by no means advocating it... but Sportsline has improved their list from past years.

Yeah, I agree. I'm using it as part of my rankings for other football leagues. The combination of the magazine I bought and the Sportsline rankings (with some of my opinion thrown in).

Happy Birthday, TLK!

Fellas, as of tomorrow at around 2:00 pm EST, I wont be around much. I am heading to GenCon to get my "geek" on for a days. I will try to set up a que and set myself on "auto" before I leave. I may have some access, but it will be spotty.
