The media is having a pre-orgasm in anticipation for the full-on orgasm that will be next season in the NFL in New York.

Move over Eli, there is a new kid in town.

Denver didn't choose the situation they got into last year. New York did. I don't feel sorry for them. They know exactly what's going to happen the moment Sanchez throws his first pick of the season.

I really like Tebow, I cheered for him last year, but as a GM, if I wasn't planning on making him my starter, I would NOT want him on my team.

Elway was on a radio show here locally earlier today. He said that even though Jacksonville offered a little bit more for Tebow, they let Tim decide - and he, obviously, picked the Jets...

Duh. He can't bring his message of love, hope, and peace to the Big Apple if he is in Jacksonville.

We made need one of those plastic covers they hand out for the first few rows at a Gallagher show, just to watch Sports Center.

I guess this can be spun as some pro-Tebow news...?

A Denver Broncos fan died on Monday, before he had to see his beloved team sign one of his least favorite players.

According to his obituary in the Columbia Daily Tribune, 78-year-old Jim Driver "wanted out" before he had to see Peyton Manning don a Broncos jersey. This is the lead paragraph from that obit:

James H. "Jim" Driver, 78, of Eagle, Colo., formerly of Columbia, passed away Monday, March 19, 2012, at South Hampton Place in Columbia after a brief illness. An avid Broncos fan, he abhorred Manning and evidently wanted out before a deal was done.

That's all sorts of fantastic. You know the old adage: If you're gonna go out, go out with some style and/or by taking a shot at the player you hate the most.

Obituaries for private citizens are usually submitted by family members, so it's likely that one of Mr. Driver's relatives had some fun with the wording of the piece. No word on what he would have thought of the Tim Tebow trade.

I have to say that I'm mildly surprised he didn't get another shot this season.

Why? If some of the best coaching minds in the game cannot teach him even the fundamentals of a winning playbook, what could any lesser teams do?

Yeah, basically. If your team sucks and no one is coming to the games... why not.

That basically leaves Jacksonville and Khan seems like the type of owner who is smart enough not to saddle his first year coach with an enormous distraction like Tebow just to put a little more money in his pocket.
