Blame my son.

I've heard Corso so often while he plays NCAA2kWhatever that it's become like a subliminal message.

Define traditional?

Does traditional mean;

Holiday Bowl
WAC champion vs at large
WAC champion vs Big 10 3rd place
"In 1995, an agreement was reached between the Holiday Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Pac-10, Big 12 and WAC. The Pac-10 runner-up or WAC champion would play in either the Holiday or Cotton Bowl and the Big 12 third selection would play in the Holiday Bowl."
or the current 2nd place PAC 10 vs 3rd place Big 12.

Yeah, I realized after the fact that so much has changed in terms of both conference composition and bowl prestige that you can't really go back to the "old days".

It's easy as a fan of a Pac-10 team to say something like that since the Rose Bowl had been tied to the Pac-10/Big-10 champs for so long, but so much else about the college football landscape has changed that I'm really not sure what would be a fair distribution of bowl tie-ins to the various conferences.
