I dont get that call on 3rd down with the pats. With all the backs they have a touch for faulk there seemed odd to me. I get that he is their 3rd down back, but Mauroney ripped it up that series.

NE looked very "shaky" so far, but their personell looks impressive if healthy, lots of options again.

Horrible penalty call on Wilfork in the endzone, but the Patriots need to get some intensity going. Welker / Moss dropping early passes, and Belichik really needs to get that defensive genius back he had 5 years ago...

I agree that call on wilfork was pretty weak. He didnt go low on purpose, he dove and basically had both hands around the knees. I give the big man a lot of credit for being able to do that. Bad bad call.

Brees is throwing 96 TD passes this year.
Cutler is going to throw 64 int's.

My first reaction to that penalty was "Wow, what a hometown call if that's late hit"

when they showed the replay, I agree that was spearing.. not particularly VIOLENT spearing, but I guess them's the rules.

It took Brady a couple quarters to settle in, but he's back now. Hitting guys all over in traffic and just busted that 10 yard scramble with the knee brace on...seems to me he's got his game-legs back.
