Actually, you're 8-3 and in 4th place due to the tiebreaker.

I haven't really been keeping up. My training is the same, same lineup and strategies, and same recruits. I've been checking once in awhile to see if any of my recruits came to me. Looks like that bastard Randy Dexter made up his mind. What are the odds someone puts a bounty on his head?

Son of a bitch.

Know who got Dexter? My coworker sitting right next to me. Why oh why did I tell him about the game.

Ugh, 5 recruits who I've offered scholarships, all ecstatic/scholarship offer is not wasted, and 3 of them signed for other teams.

It's weird, I got PM's about 2 commitments last week or the week before, and it wasn't even guys I was recruiting, and none this week, FWTW.

Oh, and 10-1, #7 overall. Only loss came when I forgot to change my defense from a 2-3 to a 3-2 against a Perimeter team.

NU is up to 10-1 with a tricky game coming up on Wednesday. I noted Dexter's commitment with bemusement. Fortunately, none of my targets have gone elsewhere yet, unfortunately none of them have committed to me yet.

5-star SF who wanted a conference powerhouse just committed to a 3-8 team over my 10-1 Nuggets. Ohhh well.

Bad matchup. They played us tight in the away game as well. Their big men don't score, but I think they defend pretty well, because they held Chapman well below his season scoring average. (As well, they closed the game on a big run, we had previously led by more than ten.)

Ah, I'd missed the closing run. I was just suprised by the scoreline when I looked at their recent results ahead of Wednesday's game. I hope it was interior defence that helped them out against you, since that's not going to help them much against my lot.

Well, Chapman averages 14.8 and only scored 8, and that's with EU playing man-to-man.

Hmm.

They played three guards and a small forward at center... two of them are at least reasonable height-wise, but one SG and one PG are both under 6', they should be abused by a good center, particularly in a low post offense.

Rob?

Gahh..

A 2 point lead with 53 seconds to play turns into a 7 point loss. Ouch. 9-3, we'll be on the edge of the Top 20 now.

It goes by ratings, not stats.

The bot teams apparently have some studs that don't get playing time.

Yeah, we just keep rolling along. Our closest win was by 14 points and we have two 40+ point victories so far. I got lucky with a group of really good seniors so I need to enjoy this season before my four best players graduate.

#3 GDI beats #15 KCKU comfortably. Meanwhile #2 Chronic Nuggets win by 1 against an 0-13 team. Keep that in mind when voting this week

NU pwned Philadelphia Chumps, with by far our easiest win of the season. We fell two points short of doubling them up at 76 - 39.

Difficulty of recruits committing lowers again next week, and it drops once more at the start of non-conference play. Trust me, it goes fast and furious then.

I think there's a bug in recruiting -- Jang and Hextall both committed to other schools.

Yeah.

I screwed up PG recruiting, I never visited any backups so I'm now likely to be way behind on any of the decent players that are left over.

I don't like the second part, but I definitely agree on the shortening. I don't see why 3, even 4 games a week would be too much. There's really nothing more than changing a defensive set to be done, which is all of four clicks.

Recruiting is also somewhat annoying in that players are at highly positive/favorable for weeks without committing. And I didn't get Dexter.

Some people are clearly just gaming the polls for their own benefit. There's no reason why AMI shouldn't at least be on every ballot.

Oh well, win tonight clinches the Sectoid Conference title.

You say that like there's something wrong with it.

Seriously, as long as the polls affect your team's placement in the postseason tournament, you'd be crazy not to be voting your team first whenever it's eligible.

Something's funny with the vote totals. They don't add up sensibly.
