It's not a huge deal and may be a result of something quirky with the way my work laptop is setup with security and such - I just have to watch what time I'm at and click on the play by play link and scroll down.

Even though it's not refreshing right, the added suspense of having to wait is awesome... especially since I'm in a really tight game with U of M right now.

The HTML is set to refresh the page every 30 seconds.

Edit: I didn't want to make it much faster than that for server load purposes.

Not sure why it's not for me then, cause it's definitely not. Every now and then it does, but overall it can sit for 2 or 3 minutes without refreshing until i do it manually.

Ugh! We had it under control with about 3 minutes left and now it's tied with 42 seconds left!

BTW - anecdotaly, free throw shooting seems WAY too bad imo. I haven't compared to NCAA stats or whether my team is extra low, but man..

As Randy holds out for another week.

Next week, however, is the first week the signing difficulty drops. Be afraid.

In broad terms, how does a recruit's decision-making process work? If they have a good impression of multiple schools, are they more likely to hold off committing? Is there a chance of them committing to a school that isn't the one of which they have the most favorable impression?

Okay, I'm good, I'm not THAT good.

Rough overview of what goes on in Randy Dexter's head...

Randy starts off with 2 desires. One is known, one is not. The one that's not is slightly less important to him, but to schools, it's the wildcard that one can only guess after watching his opinion of your school.

Randy, with all his little buddies, has just how long he wants to wait to decide on a school in his head. And just how much a school has to woo him before he will even bother considering. His buddies may want to sign much, much earlier than him. It varies.

A few weeks of schools giving Randy hookers, money, and cars pass. Randy likes a few, and hates a few. Our boy Randy has his personal list of schools he likes. At this point, even if he likes one more than the others, he COULD decide to go to any of them. It's of course, more likely Randy goes to the one that fits all his needs and gives him the most hookers, but Randy could indeed decide to go for one who paid slightly less. So long as they reach Randy's pre-determined "breaking point", he might go there. He's much more apt to choose the bigguns, but the borderline ones do have a shot.

Make sense?

And hint.

If you're going to break the rule about registering multiple teams and not get caught, you might want to not come in from the exact same IP, use the same email address, and have both your teams from the same city.

Ok.. I'm not 100% sure.. are the stars player ratings (what I think they are) or are they showing the interest level of the player in your school?

If it's player ratings the early guy I signed and seemed to get no interest from elsewhere was a *****... w00t!

That's freakin' sweet then..

7'2", 255 Lbs, 17 year old PF out of Inlet, NY. And, he has a 3.68 GPA. Bring it on Suckas!

Too bad I won't have my superstud Senior C to pair next to him, but I've got some very solid C's and SF's coming up through my younger group.

I'm very curious to see how much development we see over the off-season as that could make or break a lot of teams.. I know the rate at which they're training doesn't seem to be enough to get them to their full potential, so I'm hoping they can increase a bit in the off-season.

Actually, mathmatically, the average to above average training cap recruit will be very close to fully developed by their late junior to early senior year, on average.

Based purely on in-game training or some off-season stuff too?

I may just be impatient, I'll definitely admit that..

I'm not saying anything is falwed or anything.. just musing about my team really...

One of the great things about college sports is how often you say to yourself that you wish you could have had that superstar new freshman with the senior that graduated last year.. - but it doesn't work that way, you have a limited window... with my team right now, that is definitely reflected well

There is an off-season boost, but it's fairly limited unless you're one of the lucky .25% that explode.

I hate to say it, but he did.

Fucking douchebag. If he tries to get around the ban, I'm going to have to do what I didn't want to do and require GM approval for new teams.

Dammit CW, it was my friend I knew it'd be him. It was my gut feeling.

Listen, I recommended TBB to him blind. He is not on FOFC, has never been on FOFC, or heard of FOFC.

He lived with me last year and now we still keep in touch.

So he probably didn't know about the dual emails. Here's the text exchange I got about 2 hours ago (was in a movie, just got home).

Tyler (culprit): Cody signed up with some dumb team and got me deleted look at office pimps
Me (friend of culprit): Are you kiddin me ill see if i can do anything
Tyler: He made 1 with my email o it was 2 names then he tried again today and it was all fucked up
Me: Why did your email?
Tyler: I dunno he didnt want junk mail so i was like fuck it
Me: I should have told u about that

And the "created 5 other accounts" thing was prob a panic move to get a team back. Trust me, he is not the type of guy to even want 1 more team. He had his Granville Blue Aces, his HS team and was satisfied with that for 3 weeks. You think he really wanted to run 6 teams or something? Please just issue a slap on the wrist, for me dude. Seriously, he calls me just to remind me to check "that Office Pimps website".

Rob, you might want to take a look at my game from tonight (Northeastern, in the Trout Ten). RMSU played a center with no name, dunno if that's a problem related to an academic casualty, walk-ons, or something else.

Very close game, New York pulled within 1 with 44 seconds left, but Stone Mountain scores the final 5 points to secure the win.

Enjoying the game, CW. Great work.

So my SG Al Falck went from a scoring machine to scoring around 11 ppg in the last 3 games or so, shooting considerably less and I haven't adjusted any settings. How can I fix this? He is my entire team.

We are 1-2 since this noticable change, 5-1 prior.

Rebounds aren't showing on the stat sheet as they should.

For instance, in
Waffle House Late Nights atOklahoma Sooners

My PF, Helmut McSorley pulled down 5 rebounds, but was only credited with 2.

My C, Tony Lingeman, pulled down 6 rebounds, but was only credited with 5.

My PG, Ed Canton only got 1 rebound(unless I missed one), but was credited with two.

That's all I've looked at though.

If you're running the perimeter offense, the number of shots the guards take was indeed lowered.

With the win over Dean Houston, NU has moved two games clear in the Trout Ten. Next up is a rematch with NSDU, who handed the Huskies their only loss of the season.
