Well I suppose I CAN agree with you on the refs total suckage, they've missed some real obvious stuff going both ways.

I didn't even see the disputed goal. But I thought you were allowed to turn your skate, angle it, do just about anything as long as you didn't swing your foot in a kicking motion.

Exactly. That's why the rule was changed to include the phrase "distinct kicking motion."

eta: On the replay, you can actually see how his leg is starting to buckle from the combination of stopping and being hooked.

Serious mistake letting danny B roam free on the power play, you gotta challenge him to keep him from doing exactly what he just did.

When you give him 17 different power play opportunities, good chance he'll cash in on one of them.

Give lungquvist(sp?) some credit, he's made some really great stops today.

Coming into the series, I thought Lundqvist was our only shot. I knew Miller was a quality goalie, but figured we had the edge in that matchup. Nevertheless, Miller has really impressed me.

And now we go to OT, where one goal will effectively end the series.

Well it's true. This isn't a team you can come back on from 0-3. But you're always in it until you lose a home game.

Who's the third guy on the intermission report? he's a frantic nutcase... its hilarious watching him get all incensed and pissed off about the kicking rule. The Hull goes off on his tangent...what a terrible intermission crew in general.

It's Ray Ferraro, Tammy Granato's husband. I lost all respect for him when he went on a tirade last Olympics when the US Women lost. He said they would've done better if they would have had Tammy on the team, his wife.

That's a hell of an extended hockey family.

No idea what's going on. It's not like they had a Knicks playoff game last night or anything.

Yeah, but he was right. Still not sure why Cammi was dropped right before the '06 Olympics, but it is very strange to dump your captain (and arguably best player, even though she was 35) right before the Olympics.

So is this the point where Shanahan will take a coincidental roughing minor to get us to 4-on-4?

Good game by the rangers. My only real complaint (aside from the previously noted bad refere-ing) is the constant fellating of jagr. He's good but jebus they can't take their mouths off his johnson today.

2-1, Sabres won't play that poorly again in this series, enjoy your one win

As a Sabres fan, I'm shocked that Rachunek's goal was disallowed. I've seen plenty more blatant kick-ins count this year.

Regardless, they earned the victory.

I'm a bit worried about some passengers right now on the Sabres bus - Briere is one - hopefully he gets a bit of a spark after scoring tonight. Still waiting for Pominville, Roy, Hecht and Afinogenov to start making SOME impact.
