I can't think of anyone of any value that isn't in Yahoo.

C'mon- just a little over 2 rounds to go.

BTW, I've started posting by team rather by round in post 5 so if someone wants to take a whack at evaluating teams, they're welcome to it.

Yeah, I can't think of any football players we've run into issues with. Baseball there always seem to be a couple each year of late fliers - guys who won surprise jobs out of spring training or deep sleepers for the end of the bench.

I actually think getting a really low end QB here isn't that bad of a bargain: Sanchez, Gabbert, that guy in Cleveland, whoever wins the job in Arizona- that idea. There's a chance one might be worth something. It's like where we were with RBs like 5+ rounds ago where you're down to the crappy guys who at least have a starting job. At least that's a step up from the dart throwing of "I don't have Turner so this isn't a handcuff but I'll take Rodgers just in case Turner gets hurt".

Damn, I musta been looking at him for four rounds now, lol. Good value here, especially if he can rebound opposite of VJax.

Wish I didn't focus so much on kickers...

Will do: about 15 left, btw. Not my first choice of what's on the board but it could be worse:

(for Butter_of_69)
18.8 Arizona Defense

18.9 RB Ronnie Brown, SD

No idea what to do with this pick so go with the backup of the RB who has been hurt the most in recent years.

Good deal- got done on time! We were quite quick this year and that was great to see. Thank you for a good draft.

Check your teams in Yahoo- make sure I didn't make any mistakes. Now is a chance for trades if anyone wants to do it.

Also, Yahoo doesn't auto-populate your lineup! Make sure you do that before week 1.

So, we're not doing fractional points this year?

I thought it was a bit cumbersome and distracting to look at so we're trying something different this year. Thoughts one way or another?

Just different. I know we had a couple of games decided by under 1 point in the past... I just would hate there to be a tie due to lack of fractional points.

I'm indifferent on the matter. I certainly didn't draft players have have high ability on getting to the next round number though.

Looks like Yahoo's scoring is a bit glitchy right now. Both of my QBs have the wrong number of points and I haven't gone through the rest of my team. No big deal as long as they correct it by the end of the games tonight but just be aware if you're looking at your score.

It appears they are aware of this, from the text they put up at the top (which was in red earlier today):
  • We are aware of an issue where many players were missing stats from yesterday. We believe we have stabilized the problem but will continue to monitor the issue for the next few hours. Thank you for your patience.

I certainly can't complain at all. I went to sleep at over 200 points yesterday and woke up with 130 so that's where I did a double take.

So, without me breaking out the calculator, can anyone tell me if my score is currently legit? I am down 198-178 (Chief's Savages vs Eleven Masked Men; I am Eleven... just kidding)

Somebody want to give me a rundown on Yahoo's waiver system. I'm so used to our hometown league that is on myfantasyleague where it's pretty straightforward. Waivers run until a little bit before the first game, then it is first come first serve until late Monday night. As each game is played those players are locked.

I saw Ogletree was already picked up. How does Yahoo do it again?

EDIT: I think I found how it runs. Is it waiver Sunday-Tuesday, then first come after that? I would assume players are locked, right?

I think Yahoo freaked out with the early Wednesday night game. Usually players are locked but I found him out there and he was a FA not a WW so I picked him up.

Typically, yeah, players are locked from after they play until Tuesday morning. Then it's waiver priority and once you pick, you get moved to 10.
