Undeadish teams are now 4-0 in the league, with Katon's recent win.

Hey just poking my head in to see if anyone is about, and up for a game. All of my teams are winless, so you have nothing to worry about.

Man that was a challenging game. Fozzie's late first half and early second half heroics won the day. My Humans couldn't equalize.

I think the real story of this game is that Fozzie out coached me. He forced the action or he left the board in situations where I had to gamble a little to make a play. I might have been able to equalize in the end, but I got hurried and tried to play "rat-ball" with him. I should have been more patient. Oh and Killfleas was a machine. I shoulda fouled him when I had the chance.

Sure. Game launched, name FOFC. Giving my Dark Elves another runout, since they really need a TR100 opponent at the moment.

*laughs* it was fun, both sides were never out of stopping scores, the otherside always had to earn it. I almost got the GR catch to help him when I need a two turn score, but I got him Sure Feet instead, making him basically a 11 MA player

BTW, when Skaven need to score in two turns your were playing way too far foward.. you need to nearly be on your goal line, that way you can attack the Receivers , rather then let them pick a hole on one side, and blitz on the other side.

Well Katon beat me 2-0 this time, but I thought I played a much better game. 3 mistakes really hurt me. 1. I got a bit confused at the beginning of the game, and really set my guys up poorly. 2. Fouling you near the end of the first half, and getting ejected was a stupid move. 3. I shouldnt have advanced my ball carrier in the second half, after I picked it up, that was the difference between a 2-0 defeat, and a 1-0 defeat I thought.

Bastard did crush one of my dwarves pelvis bones. Lost a movement point, which means he has to seriously worry about moss growing on him.

For the first time in league history, the Dogslayers have made it through an entire match without any of their players getting killed. Another match like that and we may be able to finally get back to eleven players.

Ironically, despite the horrible injury luck they haven't actually lost yet.

Now, I made 80k from that match. Im thinking the best thing for me to do is buy another player, but I think I should keep the guy that got hurt and use him as a backup. One slow guy is better than nobody

Surprising, since you played a dwarven team. I tried to take out your only blitzer, but that just didnt work

Hey, he's a Longbeard. He wasn't going anywhere even when he was healthy. Just stand still and get beat on, that's his job.

Moving the ball carrier didn't help on the second TD - if I remember right, he wound up on the near (from my perspective) side of a couple of your players, which was why I was able to hit him - but that was a pretty wierd sequence of play. I'm not sure I was making the proper play charging my ball carrier off the turn before that; I just really didn't want to get the ball caught in another midfield melee after all the work I'd done to clear the last one.

That's why I spent so much of the second half not standing him up - if he got up, he was just going to get shoved off the pitch anyway.

The thing is, dwarves' nastiest trait from a hurting-people perspective is that about half the team comes with Tackle. Since none of my players have Dodge at the moment, that was completely irrelevant.

Not really. For most of the second half my offence was basically launching long bombs and praying. Worked once, but if it had come off a second time I'd've been really lucky. And you came pretty close to getting the winner with that Gutter Runner.

Well another crushing defeat. I tried to cage the ball carrier in the second half but that fell apart around turn 5. Never count on the dice roll to help ya out.

I'll hold off for a rookie-ish team. My ego is fragile, and I think I can only take one beating from each coach per day.

Now that's the kind of offer I can't refuse. Fozzie schooled me earlier today. He crowded at least four of my humans. I'll break out the Blitz(Chaos Dwarves) or My Wood Elves.

Hmmm since I got called into work on my Day off, I'm in a bashy Mood. So probably the Chaos Dwarves.
