Ugh.

It is always lovely to come back to the office after being at the high school for several hours, check my e-mail, see 3 reported posts messages and two PM notifications, then come over here and see a 103-post thread entitled "Blackadar is a homophobic troll" and the thread in which the reported post happened grow by around 150 posts from the time I was here last, all on what is going to be a busy afternoon, work-wise, for me anyway.

Seriously, Ryan is going to try to sort through all of it, and if someone could PM or e-mail (new address: benlewis AT comcast.net) a recap of the apparent train wreck to me, with links to the most important posts that I need to read, that would be very helpful.

For now, I have one comment to make: RETREAT TO YOUR CORNERS! I don't know what transpired yet, and I don't know if things have calmed down yet, but I will say this: anything inflammatory said after this post will be judged much more harshly than what has been said up to now.

I believe the count is currently at 6, but JonInMiddleGA is on now so that might change...

I feel like my chances are pretty good right now ... many of the people I'd be likely to rumble with have already gotten game misconducts.

I blame overzealous enforcement of new rules, designed to do nothing but artificially inflate scoring & turn the most wonderful game on ice into a clone of arena football.

Exactly, according to ryan he asked for it, he just never received it. So it was an on going thing, leading up to today.

Two or three weeks is the standard, but it can be more or less depending upon how many times the offender has been in the box before and the severity of the offense...

I guess I missed some big drama and Wade Moore was true that I don't want o see it. It's good to have you around to restore peace one in a while SD. Now I'll go back to the spinoff forums to find out what the kids with their faces to the corners were up to...
