Actually, the correct answer is the one kid is wearing white pants after Labor Day.
No really, this is a pice from some guy's blog - it's his 5th grade class, 1986/87. Think that kid would get away with wearing that shirt today? Come to think of it, how'd he get away with that then? Nice job, mom and dad!

No one (including myself) realized it at the time, but I'm now about 99% sure those palm trees weren't palm trees...
