![]() As a school project, an El Paso third grade class sent letters to soldiers in the Middle East. One of the third graders got a letter back, from a soldier who wrote the letter five days before she was listed as MIA...

Well, the letter was from Pfc. Lori Ann Piestewa, who was friends with Jessica Lynch, and is now unfortunately no longer listed as MIA.

How sad ....kinda put's things in perspective though . There have been many stories like that throughout history and many such during this war . One about a wife of a Marine who after learning of her husband's death received a letter from him the same day after the notification . How sad .
