Something good in the mail...

No, it was not CM4. It was a little CD full of songs from a local dog.

I am really enjoying it. The full songs are better than the snippets we have already heard. The songs really do have a James Taylor feel to them. They all seem to have a catchy-ness to them that guarantees they'll stay in your head.

Great job, Skydog. Nicely done.

I thought you were trying to compliment Skydog?

Hey, what's wrong with a folky acoustic sound? That is all I'm saying.

No question that James Taylor is one of my influences. I'd consider it a high compliment to be compared to him.

I was fortunate enough to run an errand for work that took me across the street from where I live. So I ran in and checked my mail quick, hoping for a CD to bring back to work with me this afternoon. Of course, it wasn't there.

Wisconsin's a ways away I guess. Yours mailed in the same batch as GrantDawg's. I heard from someone in Tennessee who got theirs today. I'd imagine you'll have it tomorrow.

I figured it would be Thursday or Friday, but sometimes the USPS surprises me. Sometimes.

Mine came today. I have it in the player right now, although I keep getting interrupted by phone calls, the wife, etc. Sounds great so far!
