Call Chad Hutchinson's Line

Closest to his actual line tonight wins a picture of a penguin.

It was busy and his voice mailbox is full. I didn't realize he was that popular.

That's what they are saying, yeah. He gets the first half, Orton most of the 2nd, Blake gets like a single series or so.

Orton comes out in the 2nd half and tears an ACL, causing Bears fans to openly weep.

So I only watched two plays. But I saw one pass and it was a classic. The guy threw 20 yards and it was a floater. The play ended up being called back on a penalty but it was a great chance to give my dad (who is a Bears fan while I am not) a hard time.

Unless he comes back into the game everyone was too optimistic.

3/14 33 Yards 2 INT's

Not a bad YPC and that's about it for positive spins.

Elsewhere in the NFC North it looks like Favre is already in post season form, though 9/21 for 69 yards and 2 INTs is a line Hutchinson would be envious of.

Orton still doesn't look half-bad. I think (okay, pray to fucking god) the mounting pressure to start Orton will get to Lovie, and the Bears might have a shot to be respectable.

If by respectable you mean 4-12, then I agree completely.

And with that performance the Bears have named Kyle Orton the starting QB.

I hope he survives. Watching him play in college, I always thought he would make a good NFL QB, but this is a bad situation.
