Best Baseball Primer post about the subject I saw was posted by a nimrod who posts under the handle Admiral Ackbar. In most every thread over there he always posts "It's a trap!" In the thread for this trade he posted "It's a tr.....what the fuck?"

Yeah I know the trade is outdated, but still if this had happened today, no one would've believed it, as a Phillies fan, I still can't believe it...shame he'll probably be back with the Braves next year.

Not likely as this is not the Ted Turner Braves, they actually do live with a budget. Now if we can just get Steinbrenner to sell the Yankees to some foreign, budget minded owners then we will see the downfall of the "evil empires" in both leagues

HEY!!! The Braves are not the evil empire!!! Okay maybe they are, but to me, the two evil empires are the Yankees and the Mets. Even though the Mets suck. They're still evil.

Why all the negative vibes towards the Mets, man? You're really harshing their buzz.

Greatest quote from baseball primer in their Braves preview:

"Mets hit Bong hard!"

Seriously though, growing up in the 80's as a Braves fan makes you realize they are not the evil empire.
