What's in your SYSTRAY?

Had a thread about desktops and stuff not too long ago. Got me thinking.

What little treasures do you have running in your systray that you think others should know about?

What little devils are running there that you are ashamed to have not gotten rid of yet?

Here's mine:

1. Zone Alarm - Firewall
2. Trillian - Instant messaging
3. Winamp - Multimedia
4. Mixer Control
5. Wallpaper Cycler - changes wallpaper randomly or in a series whenever you want basically.

I hate the systray and hide it from view. However, your wallpaper cycler sounds cool. Is it freeware? Do you have a linky?

Yeah I hide mine too. My litestep theme (rhodiumedge I think it's called) allows you to slide it into the edge of the taskbar.

Yeah. I have a link that will change your life:

http://www.webattack.com

aka

http://www.snapfiles.com

Bookmark this immediately.

http://www.snapfiles.com/freeware/sy...ktoptools.html

is where I found this wallpaper cycler. You could spend a month at webattack/snapfiles and still find useful stuff to download.

I have like 600 wallpapers in a list and one is chosen randomly for me each time the desktop loads or I double-click on the systray icon. (Can also be configured to do it based on time intervals).

I noticed my systray was getting a bit bigger lately so I thought about reviving this old thread. I'm still curious what programs you guys use enough to warrant being in your systray (has to be pretty important to get into mine).

1. iTunes. Don't really want it in my systray, but it's playing and that's what it does.
2. Miranda IM. My favorite instant messaging client. Very minimal, connects to the majors.
3. ePrompter. Slick little email account notifier. I really like the way this dude works. Check it out if you haven't.
4. ChannelBot. A program I wrote for the Free Internet Chess Server.
5. SpeedFan. A little CPU temperature monitor. There are other parameters it can display in the systray like this, but I choose this one because my CPU gets pretty warm in my laptop sometimes.
6. PokerBot. Another program I wrote for FICS. No it doesn't cheat at poker, it allows users to play poker on FICS against each other for fake money. Just for fun.
7. Laptop battery indicator.
8. Sygate Personal Firewall. My favorite of the free ones.
9. Avast anti-virus. Again, my favorite of the free ones.
10. Network cable is unplugged!
11. Wireless connection.

Wow, I never thought I'd have 11 icons that I wanted. I don't really want #10, but when I connect at work I use cables so it is good to have up there, I guess.
