Excel Experts
Ok, here is another Excel formula question that I hope I can explain correctly.
I'm playing FM2005 and I'm trying to create a "player card" for each player for player instructions. So what I'm trying to do is in a certain cell the number is in a range of say "10-15" then I would want the word "mixed" to appear. For example, if cell B2 has the number "13.2" in it, since it falls between the range of 10-15, then I would want cell B3 to have the word "mixed" appear as a result. Is this possible?

Put in cell B3:
=IF(AND(B2>10, B2<15),"mixed","")

=if(b2>=90,"A",if(b2>=80,"B",if(b2>=70,"C",if(b2>=60,"D","F"))))
This is a similar example for grades. Just use nested IFs. (I think I've got my parens in the right place.) |

You've just taught me something. I do more expression building in Access than Excel and have had problems using ANDs and ORs in IF Statements. I've tried to do IF(B2>10 and b2<15,"Mixed","").

Glad to help out. I have posted here many of times under these sort of threads, there is a forum that is free and very reliable when it comes to questions about Access and Excel. Mod's on there respond very fast and are very helpful when you run into problems, or can't think of a solution, and you know there has to be one.

My solution was to just create even more complicated nested IF statements. Such as IF(b2>10,if(b2<15,"Mixed","")) instead of the AND function.
