New wine for me, a Pinotage

So, my sister, when she was out here for th 4th, introduced me to a Pinotage.

WOW......

It's a nice Red South African wine (or at least what she bought us). Very, Very smooth, and you can taste some of the black cherry in it. It's so smooth it's dangerous, I am on one bottle by myself (Mrs. IndoorSoccerSim can't drink due to pregnancy) and it is awesome!

Anyone else try a Pinotage? Thoughts?

Uh oh, are you gonna make a drunk post soon?

Wine sounds good, may have to get that at some point soon. Wife and I are on trying to get our hands on some San Angelo Pinot Grigio, but can't seem to find it anywhere in our area.

I will see if it is at our state liquor store tomorrow. ....

And for a drunk post, I don't post that way....generally, I am off the box by that time and begging, crying and pleading the Mrs for nookie....

Been a few years since I had one, but I remember pinotage as a pretty nice red. South Africa is correct, the varietal originates there I believe (some type of hybrid, IIRC, almost certainly pinot noir and something else). Another benefit of pinotage: not expensive
