Wayne Rooney damaged his shoulder and will miss 5 days.

My physio thinks Boogaart and Schmidt need rest, but now is no time for rest..

Rooney will miss our next EPL match against Middlesbrough

April 25, 2015 -

Chelsea lost John Terry to a groin strain for the next month

Unfortunately, Chelsea won their last match 2-0 at home vs Tottenham. Their next match is on the road vs Sunderland (17th place) today.

Today we host Middlesbrough in an EPL Match. They are in 13th while we are in 2nd. We need Chelsea to lose. They will be simultaneously playing sunderland and that doesn't seem like a likely match for them to lose or even draw. Middlesbrough is led by left winger Johny Alejandro Acosta who has 9 goals and 7 assists. Keeper Jan Lastuvka is still playing very well. Striker Dexter Blackstock is the leading goalscorer with 9 goals. Centreback Steven Taylor is playing very good defense. Thorben Marx is a decent right winger who is playing very good.

We are 4-5 favorites.

It's raining with temperatures in the 50's.

Our team gathers around the TV, not expecting much, since Sunderland hasn't done much all year long. Our spirit is further deflated when Freddy Adu converts a pass from Rafael van der Vaart at the 11 minute mark. Adu shoots into the upper right corner from 15 yards out. We become dejected as we watch Nicky freaking Platt convert a Freddy Adu pass at the 27 minute mark for Chelsea's second goal. There is no way that Sunderland will come back. However, we get a glimmer of hope when Lee Taylor passes it long to start the counterattack and finds Danko Lazovic who buries a shot into the upper right corner to make it 2-1.

A few minutes later, we start cheering at Steven Reid converts a long pass from Lee Taylor. Reid shoots into the lower left corner to make it 2-2.

Our team is cheering as it is a 2-2 tie at halftime.

At the 78 minute mark, we can hardly believe it as Steven Reid threads a pass into the box for Mathieu Flamini who shoots into the lower right corner from 10 yards out. He gives Sunderland a 3-2 lead!!!

We start cheering as the final whistle blows. Sunderland pulls off the surprising victory with a score of 3-2!

We are in 1st place again

Southampton have been relegated from the EPL.

Birmingham have won promotion to the EPL.

April 27, 2015 -

Downing and Fletcher were selected to the EPL Team of the Week.

April 29, 2015 -

Cristian Chivu came into my office today and stated that he should be playing regular first team football. What is he, kidding? He has lost almost all of his speed, and quite a bit of his other abilities. I tell him, "I'm sorry, but you've lost the ability to be a regular first team player, but I consider you a valuable backup."

I hope the slump is over, but am not completely convinced, but this last win did feel good.

Thanks for the well wishes.

Today we travel to play Southampton in an EPL match. They are in 20th. Meanwhile Chelsea will be hosting Aston Villa which is in 3rd. Southampton is a team in disarray, and we should be able to handle them easily. Jorge Pina, their left winger, is their most dangerous player. I'm not taking any chances and I'm keeping my best players out there.

We are 1-2 favorites.

After the match, we find out that Chelsea beat Aston Villa 2-1

We need Chelsea to lose or tie to Charlton which is a weak team that was just promoted this year

Charlton is currently in 11th, but this would be a huge surprise if they can beat Chelsea. I'm just hoping they can tie them.

Lucio will miss 5 days due to a thigh bruise.

Downing will miss 5 days due to a chest bruise.

Parker will miss 5 days due to a gashed leg.

Chelsea has lost centreback Naldo for 5 months due to a hairline fracture of his skull! Now, they are without Terry and Naldo. Perhaps, Charlton can pull off the surprise tie..

Chivu pulled a hamstring in practice and will miss the rest of the season.

Our Reserves have won the English Reserves Group 1 Title.

Craig King suffered a groin strain and will miss 2 weeks or so.

Today we host the wolves in our final EPL match of the year. they are in 16th place. Chelsea is playing charlton at charlton at the same time. Charlton is in 12th place, but is the weaker team compared to the wolves IMO. The Wolves star striker Bruno Moreira is out with an injury. Leandro is the main striker I will have to watch out for today. Juli is a good centreback who can shut down the opposition. Stuart Taylor has been starting in goal for them lately. Taylor is 34 and slipping, but he has a wily veteran presence.

We are 4-7 favorites.

I think my guys were fatigued towards the end of the year. Craig King and James McFadden's injuries caused me to rely on Rooney and Adriano too much. Also, my defenders are getting old and it hurt me when I couldn't use my top guys. I still can't believe we couldn't win against the 20th ranked team.. very annoying.

Helder Barbosa won the English Footballer of the Year award. Wayne Rooney came in 2nd, and Achille Emana came in 3rd.

Barbosa again acknowledged me as the key reason he won this award and thanked me.

Chelsea's Adriano won the award for most league goals scored in the season.

Rooney's 23 league goals was a new team record.

Bad news today: Wayne Rooney is recovering slowly from his injury and he might not able to play in the Champions League Final. More bad news, James McFadden suffered a hip injury in practice today. He will miss about 2 months.

Arsenal fired Martin Jol today. Ernie Tippett and Antonio Lopez are believed to the be the favorites to get the job.

Today is the day. We face off against Inter in the Champions League Final. We need this win to redeem some of our season. A double would make up for choke job in the EPL to some extent. Inter finishes 2nd in the Italian Serie A (behind Milan) and they have a VERY talented team. Roque Santa Cruz is a 33 year old striker who is starting to lose his tremendous physical skills, but he is a very sharp mentally and he still has a great shot. He has 22 goals in 45 starts. Obafemi Martins is a 30 year old Nigerian striker who is the fastest man in the game that I've ever seen. He is very fast with great physical skills and a decent finishing touch. He has 17 goals on the year in 37 starts. Mark Carroll is a relative weak spot at left wing. He is good at everything, but doesn't excel in any area. He is 24 and he only has 2 assists in 24 starts. Christian Obodo is a 31 year old midfielder who is a dominant two way player who has excellent tackling, marking, and passing ability. Luigi De Luca is a 21 year old midfielder who is a young phenom. He isn't doing that great yet, but he is going to be one of the great midfielders to play the game if my scouts are correct. Gianni Di Marco is a young talented 21 year old right winger who could become a great player, but he isn't a great player yet. I wonder if he really is going to start this final. Simone Santarelli is a great left back. He is 25 and he is a dominant player who does everything exceptionally. He has 12 assists from his left back position, but he can also play left wing. Nicolas Burdisso is a 34 year old centreback who is starting to lose his physical abilities, but he is still a very good defender. Christian Traore is a 33 year old centreback who is also aging, and he isn't keeping as much of his skills. Philipp Lahm is a 31 year old Right back who is one of the best in the game. He does everything very well. Francisco Guillermo Ochoa is a good 29 year old keeper who can be dominant and he has 17 clean sheets in 47 games, but he has given up 50 goals in his other 30 starts. He has some holes in his game, and he can be beat. In particular, he isn't great at One on Ones.

We are 5-4 favorites.

It's raining with temperatures in the 40's.

We outshot them 15-14 (8-6 on target)

Rooney wins MoM, 10 for form, 7 of 10 passes, 0 of 7 tackles, 4 of 11 headers, 2 runs, 1 foul drawn, and 3 goals.

Barbosa also had a 10 for form.

Howard had a 9. Marchetti had a 6 (I'm starting to wonder if he can be my regular centreback) Every other starter had an 8.

June 2, 2015 -

Michael Oswald's agent sent me video of this 20 year old German attacking midfielder/forward. I get dozens of these videos, but most of them I ignore. However, this one shows the star player absolutely dominating the Germany U21 vs Scotland U21 match. In the match Oswald scores 6 goals! He scores with a variety of manuevers, but appears to have a dominating header, and he appears to be highly skilled. I decide to make an offer for him.

Chelsea's Adriano has won the European Golden Boot Award. Jermain Defoe of Newcastle came in 2nd, and Wayne Rooney came in 3rd.

Antonio Lopez has been hired by Arsenal to take over as their new manager.

Hertha BSC have rejected the 9 million dollars offer for Michael Oswald. I decide to ask them how much they want for him.

I make a counter offer of 12.5 million for Oswald who has told the team that he wants to be allowed to move.

Southampton have fired Mick Harford.

The European Club Rankings have been announced and we are in 1st place again this year.

Hertha BSC have accepted my latest offer for Michael Oswald. I've contacted his agent and he wants 26,500/week to be a rotation player. He also wants a 500,000 dollar signing bonus on this 4 year deal. I agree to his requests.

June 22, 2015 -

Wayne Rooney has been selected the player of the year by Manchester United Supporters. Rooney had his best year ever last year with 38 goals, 15 assists, and 8 MoM awards, but he also had 6 more appearances than the past year when his stats were almost as good... hmm.. perhaps I need to rest him a bit more this year.

My new under 18 players have arrived, and one in particular is very exciting. Mark Hall is a 16 year with AMAZING speed, very good physical abilities, great determination, bravery, and already semi-decent technical abilities. This home grown kid could become something special in 3-5 years.

It's now time to start our new season as we are getting our budget set as well as our expectations, etc for the new season

Yeah. I know there is some variation from career to career, but that guy has been one of the biggest thorns in my side for several years now.
