Every time I click on FOFC in my Bookmarks and the first page of the forums come up, I'm just waiting to see a post about Jim next Masterpiece being released .... Anyways, who else does this...?????

I thought Jim retired and that FOF5 was going to be his last game.

At this point, I'm beyond caring. I understand the anti-hype machine reasons why not to publicize something, but at this point, there has been so little activity that I come here for other reasons than FOF. Hell, I don't even play the game any more.

THE FUTURE

As we enter 2004, the future remains uncertain. As I've reached six years "unemployed", I hope to continue to make Solecismic Software my career. Angela and I had a baby boy, Gregory, in March of 2003, and we're fortunate that the company has been successful enough to allow her to spend all of her time raising him.

And I've been fortunate enough to be able to spend all of my time in the home office, working on Front Office Football. One of my long-term goals is to maintain the football games, keeping them on the cutting edge for this type of career simulation.

My desire to break into new sports continues to grow, however, and my notebooks are littered with partial designs for other games. In this field new challenges always beckon, and this has been a tremendously rewarding experience.

I'd like to encourage anyone who feels he or she has a creative side that's being suppressed by today's cubicle farms to take a chance like this just once in life. You may be pleasantly surprised.

We are past the entering 2004 and are nearing the halfway point to 2005. While I understand everyone has priorities, it's pointless to even try to understand when or even if a new game will come out. My advice: don't bother.

Everytime I click on this place I think "there is absolutely jack shit going on in the world right now... no important/interesting news, no new games, sports are still in the boring stage for a few months..."
