St. Elmos Fire and NKTOB are not only not lame, they are in fact still fighting it out over the mantle of Coolest Fucking Thing That Ever Did Exist, right along with Bruce Willis circa 1985, Frampton Comes Alive on vinyl and Elle MacPherson in Sirens. Please revise this list taking these things into account mmmmkay.

1. The series of wars and invasions that pushed the wandering, authoritarian, patriarchial herding tribes into power over the agrarian farming cultures. A number of partularly damaging sociological tropes were established here that continue to dominate to this day: money and personal property, land ownership, and permanent political leadership being only a few.

1. The assassination of Julian the Apostate, dooming an attempt to bring back a religious tolerance in Roman society and dooming the world to Christian hegemony for thousands of years.

2. Oscar Wilde dying penniless and alone, only to be truly appreciated years after his death.

4. Leisure suits. Jesus, someone mention leisure suits.

Lame can be many things.. but four things that come to mind quickly

1. Nehru Jackets
2. Platform Shoes
3. The fact that Jon Bon Jovi lives while John Lennon is dead.
4. That hot dogs come in 8 packs while hot dog rolls come in 10 packs.

Same here. I just got done taking a road trip where the two other people in the car chose to listen to a Good Charlottle CD. It was about an hour of the same crappy song being played over and over.

Im my opinion the FOUR lamest things in history are:

1. Monglos being beaten by Divine Wind
2. Black Death brought about the end of Mongol Empire (though they did cause it)
3. Star Wars Episodes I, II,III (Should have really been a whole lot better).
4. Puffy Nipples
