Is there a way to send you an e-mail or PM, regarding EHM 2005. Just got my copy and have some questions.

just guessing Shaq, but if you have questions re: EHM you might do better to ping riz or send him a PM as he is the primary developer and might be able to help you more with any "in-game" type questions.

edit: not to say MV wouldn't help, but riz would probably be able to provide better help if it wasn't like a Sports Interactive policy-related question.

I'm not sure how much MV would be able to answer, I don't think he has a lot of day-to-day involvement with EHM. And Riz is on vacation at the moment, so he may not be checking in here very often. If it's game-related, I might be able to answer them, if not, try PM'ing Riz and I'll remind him to check the next time I see him online.

Thanks I'll PM riz, though I also have a question now for MV related to Football Manager 2005. I've noticed what may be bootleg copies of FM over on eBay. Really want to buy a copy of the game, as I got my EHM copy there and it was perfect. However, the FM copies are questionable.

DONT EVER buy BOOTLEGGED SIM GAMES!!! These guys need the money to keep developing....This does not apply to EA stuff, crap that comes out from companies who refuse to service their audience by adding copy protection like starforce. Otherwise get those BUT NOT TEXT SIM GAMES!!!!

I'm not saying I will buy one, because I want the original copy. I love how the games come in the nice DVD package. I wish games were released that way here.

Several of the eBay sellers look like scam. Most area in Asia, which leads me to believe that no matter what they say, they are fakes. And, I will not buy. I just wanted everyone, especially Marc Vaughn to be aware.

Have found a few legitimate copies, priced accordingly.

If it's made by EA, then yes.

I'm aware of bootlegs popping up on ebay and I regularly send information upon them to Sega's lawyers ... its a frustrating situation to be honest, especially with a new game like EHM which is still establishing itself and has yet to truly 'break' its market - if even 10% of the bootleg copies were actual sales we'd probably double our revenue and be able to expand the EHM team considerably (and thus improve the games at a faster rate), but such is life ...

PS> Bootlegging any game is wrong imho - the chaps working at EA might not take the same approach to development that SI do, but they do work long and hard to develop their games ....

I know (think?) you are probably joking, and while that may be true to many of us around here, I'm sure Marc is thinking that, to somebody else, SI = Evil and in that regards, they could think it's okay to bootleg/copy games...
