QPR2010: A frog in the Premiership in 2010-11?
So, given the current league table with 8 games to play in the 2009-10 season, and the 9 opponents remaining for the Ranger, do you think they will promote, and if so, how will they achieve that feat?
Don't go with the easy one, I don't need the "rah-rah, Froggie you will beat them all!" kind of answer, state what you think will happen, given what you've read on the team in the last season, and what you think will happen in those last 8 games. League table after 38 games: grrrr wysiwyg doesn't work in here... Go here to see the table Fixtures left: March 20, away at Leeds (14th after 38) March 28, home vs West Ham (18th after 38) on TV April 3, away at Walsall (16th after 38) April 10, away at Nottm Forest (3rd after 38) April 13, home vs Reading (24th after 38) April 17, home vs Burnley (4th after 38) April 24, away at Bristol C 23rd after 38) May 2, Stoke (19th after 38) Vote away! i think if you beat the teams you need to beat (lower half) and get points from nottm forest and Burnley, you'll be in the premiereship next season.

dang, I can't make it a poll!!! WTF?!? Even if I go to edit it, there's no options to either delete the post, or make it into a poll... oh well...
here are the options, post vote in here... (a) Yes, they will promote and they'll even win the league title! (b) Yes, they will promote but they'll finish in 2nd place. (c) Yes, but it will be hard and they'll have to win it through the playoffs, finishing between 3rd and 6th place. (d) No, they won't but they'll fight until the end, losing in the playoffs. (e) No they won't. It's crash and burn as they won't even make the playoffs, finishing 7th or worse (think Crystal Palace in the dynasty right now)... Now, vote by posting your choice in this thread... FM

Option B. Southampton have enough of a headstart to beat you to the title, but second place is yours to lose and you've mostly got quite a soft schedule coming up. Get a point or better away to Forest and you should be fine.

Sorry for my lack of knowledge in this, but Saint = Southampton? I'll have to look it up anyway but I have a hard time saying who's who between many teams... FM

as for their schedule, here goes: 03/21, #4 Burnley (away) 03/27, #23 Bristol C (home) 04/03, #9 Crystal Palace (home) 04/10, #19 Stoke (away) 04/13, #7 Brighton (away) 04/17, #6 Charlton (away) 04/24, #13 Cardiff (home) 05/02, #17 Derby (away) 5 away, 3 home They play 4 teams who will be fighting hard for a playoffs spot and that April 10-13-17 week with 3 away games ending with games at Brighton and Charlton will be crucial to them... Interesting to see. I usually don't pay much attention to other teams, except in these very special moments, like right now, or when I got in the playoffs with Luton a few years back, ending the season at #6 and winning it all, good memories Anything can happen I guess...
