Any other fans of the series out there? I swear, I don't know why I love this game so much, but I'm willing pay $50 for the exact same gameplay and new plots and maps. Which it sounds like I'm about to do.

I really wish all KOEI games where available on the pc. If any of these are could you spot me a link. They made some great games but seem to be more focused on consoles. and my xbox is dead.

I've been playing it. It's still very enjoyable, although the make-up of the game has changed somewhat. You pick a character and follow him or her through 4-6 scenarios. Instead of the family story paths they used to have. It's fun, but I kind of miss the big picture storyline. I think the story picks up somewhere around halfway through what was going on in 4. There's some interesting variations, like some main characters dying due to historical events.

It's a lot easier to find items and weapons, although a lot harder to acquire orbs and some of the saddles.
