United had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially in the 8:th minute when Sheldon Ridgeway came up alone against Juán Wilson who managed a block.

Go United!

22 minutes in and nothing at all has happened in mine. I don't run a 4-5-1, what did I do to deserve this lackluster game?

Sony- go to Matches and where you would submit orders, just click on the game. It's not really watching per se.

Assassins took the lead in the 24:th minute of the game by 1 to 0, as Lee Greco elegantly received a pass going deep, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar.

Going for his 2nd Hattrick in 2 games

Yay! I am leading the Celtics 1-0 right now. My goalie went down due to an injury though.

NO! I went up 3-0 and my coach has pulled back defensively. He's all-out too. ATTACK

United took the lead in the games 24:th minute with 0 - 1 after some elegant plays down the middle. Sheldon Ridgeway was the scorer.

After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, xenocide´s Don Melton got himself booked. Don Melton received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly, probably out of lack of experience, in the 25:th minute and almost caused an opponent to score.

After 27 minutes Bryan Warner got through on the right and was very close to equalising for the home side, but didn´t get the shot away.

Go United

On to Victory!

I'm up 5-0 already (playing a very weak team, BTW). My coach went defensive after 3-0 all all we did was tack on 2 more goals.

Halftime score was 0 - 3. luangphone held the ball, with a clear 85 percent possession rate.

I am up at half-time. YAY! Clear domination by my players from looking at the possession rate.

This is bullshit. Final game of the series, first place on the line. I held the ball at 71% in the first half....and I'm down 3-1 GRRRRRRRRR.

The teams went for a half-time break at 3 - 1. The fortyfive minutes were dominated by Galesburg, with an impressive 67 percent possession of the ball.

Not bad. Pulled back early though, which tends to spell doom for my team, so we'll see.

I know how you feel, kinda....but mine is not quite as bad...

"The teams went for a half-time break at 0 - 2(them). Possession of the ball saw an equal split between the teams during the fortyfive minutes."

My team has good stamina so hopefully I can put up a good fight and come out on top in the 2nd half...The teams in 4th and 5th place are both winning their games, and if i lose I fall to 5....

edit:
woo-hoo
"A marvelous Louisiana effort to the right resulted in a 46:th minute goal by Zhu Ching-fu, putting the score up to 1 - 2. Due to some great work on the right wing Louisiana:s Godofredo Peckerman was able to even the score in the 53rd minute to 2 - 2."

I am right back in the mix for 3rd place.....and my newly acquired 17 year old forward from Hong Kong (Ching-fu) got a goal.

Feeling much better now myself...

"In the 48:th minute Nathan MacDavid passed through the guests central line of defense, scoring the 2 - 3 goal. A header from Nathan MacDavid connected with a corner kick after 53 minutes, and the ball ended up with Sean Odell of Bombers who shot the 3-3 goal. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Tronco´s Jonah Cano got himself booked. "

Heh. We had the ball 64% of the time in the first half against the 7th place team and only managed to go into half time with a 4-3 lead. This isn't going to make my ulcer very happy!

I am in second two points behind the leader. The Spikes took a 1-0 lead in the first minute and hold a 2-0 lead on the third place team halfway through the second half. Unfortunately, I am now playing a man down. Hopefully my solid defense can hold out.

The first place team is also up 2-0 and is now also playing a man down.

And now for the exciting conclusion...

I'm up 2-0, against a team that spent all its money of a solid keeper. Unforunatly barring a miracle I am going to finish 4th. The team I needed to lose is up 2-0.

But on a funnier note. The guy that I just sold for around $160,000 just went down with an injury for 2 weeks. Now thanks to the sale I upgraded my stadium, and won't be stuck at 7005 anymore.

Well in true soccer fashion....i had a tie, 2-2.
After splitting the possesion in the first half...
"Louisiana held the ball, with a clear 68 percent possession rate."
and then i was very happy with this...
Louisiana Cyclones
Player rating and Team formation
Midfield: wretched
Right Side Defence: solid
Central Defence: excellent
Left Side Defence: solid
Right Side Attack: passable
Central Attack: inadequate
Left Side Attack: inadequate

I think that solid-excellent-solid is pretty good for a new team....

but the worst part is...the team in 4th place won, to finish the season with 20 pts, the team in 5th place won to finish with 19 points, i tied to finish with 19 points...but becasue my goal ratio wasn't as good i end up in fith place....that sucks....

I won 6-0 (again), but I fear that I may not be promoted. I have 37 points, and am first in my league, but look at this:

Leaders Series Goals Points
125. LoneWolves V.81 57 - 12 37
126. Element V.1 54 - 9 37
127. S.F.K.B's V.80 58 - 14 37
128. HIFers V.2 60 - 18 37

129. Wolfhounds V.242 59 - 17 37
130. The Dynasty V.203 51 - 11 37
131. USA Returns V.79 50 - 10 37
132. Sharona F.C V.201 55 - 16 37

That's the promotion table...my goal diff. is 47-10...so I don't show up on here...so do I not get a qualification game?

Hey Sony, were in the same league!

I won 2-0 to give me a shot for the title, but the first place team held on to win the league.

Complex Spikes
Player rating and Team formation
Midfield: wretched
Right Side Defence: solid
Central Defence: excellent
Left Side Defence: excellent
Right Side Attack: weak
Central Attack: weak
Left Side Attack: weak

Well I think my strengths and weaknesses are obvious.

Half the first place teams automatically get promoted. The other half will play a qualifying match against a team from the higher division. It looks like next weekend you will have another game to determine if you get promoted.

I almost hope I don't win...I think I need another year of stockpiling players...looking at some of the D-IV teams, there's no way I can compete :/

I saw someone talking about this on the conference boards. Some of the guys came up with some pretty good ways to lose with a first year team. Playing your coach as a keeper was the best. Still try, and if you win cool. You get prize money, use it to upgrade. If you don't you still get prize money, and use it to be even better. It's a win win situation.

I won 5-4 to finish 5th. I won 3 and tied 1 in the league games I was active for. If I had won the game I tied, I would have finished 4th, so close.

And why is my defense always rated higher than my offense? I give up goals all the time, but they are always rated at least passable, while the offense is lucky to get inadequate, and I've scored 7, 5, 4 and 4 in the league.
