I'm saddened. I met Simonsen at SPI when I did a little Friday night playtesting back in the early 1970's. Quite a bright guy.
He invented and copyrighted the 'Et' (Microsoft doesn't have a key for it, but you know what I mean) symbol used for the magazine logo. It's since become quite popular.
