PA High School Football - The Trinity Shamrocks
I have gone through FOF: The College Years, and changed all of the schools to PA high schools. Some of it's a bit rough, in that there are rivalries that aren't really rivalries.
But, I can ignore that. Anyway, I've changed the conference names to reflect the district play of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA). I've tried to do the best I can to keep the boundaries correct (ie District 3 is Harrisburg), but in some cases, it just didn't work. I also tried to get enough big schools and small schools in there, and will try doing rankings for AAAA, AAA, AA, and A whenever possible. The big difference, of course, is that there will only be one state champion. But, such is life. I will be running the Trinity Shamrocks, my alma mater. They're a AA school with only one district title to their credit, and they're more of a basketball school (122-7 record, two state titles, four district titles the last four seasons), but I hope to turn them into a state power. I'll update this when I can. I hope you all enjoy! -John |

I'm curious how this turns out. I figured TCY might make a decent HS sim, but not owning it, I'm doing my own HS sim through house rules applied to FOF2K1. Good luck, and if you get a chance, visit the dynasty mentioned in the following, shameless signature plug:

Assistants do it. I treat them like an incoming 8th grade class.
Also, I talk about redshirts as being a year younger than what they are. I will take off any redshirt on an older player after this year, too. -John |

Sorry about this...I've been out with the flu all week. Still have it, and it sucks.
Once I'm back and healthy, I'll start this in earnest. -John |

I'm just wondering if my alma mater Penn-Trafford is on your list. They are a Quad A school in the WPIAL.

They didn't make it. I've been using schools who have had a lot of success as long as I've been following the PIAA (about the past 12 years).
I'll post the district entrants when I get the chance, probably this weekend. -John |

I want to do this for New Jersey, but there are so many schools. I think instead of putting them in clear-cut conferences, I'm just going to align them by Group and section (North I, North II, Central, South, Non-Public, then the various sectional groups...it's so crazy) Anyway...yeah. This is a great idea.

I'll do 2004 quickly, so that 2005 can be the real start date, with some semblence of a history.
Trinity Schedule (with preseason rankings) Week Team 2 @ #1 Bethlehem Catholic 3 @ Strong Vincent 4 Camp Hill 5 Concord (Non-PIAA game) 6 @ Scotland 7 East Penn 8 @ Hershey 9 Steel-High 11 Boiling Springs 12 @ Big Spring 13 @ Milton Hershey |
