Sounds kind of cool. Although I don't know if it's $1500/day cool.

Oh sure, comfort, luxury, an amazing view. That is how this always starts. Then there is the running and the screaming and the eventual explanation of how this just happened to be in the same area that the mad scientist was using to make super-smart and super-aggressive assassin sharks. I think I'll pass.

Lay off - I'm still pissed Disney closed down 100,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

Considering the fact that the ocean terrifies me, this "resort" looks like my deepest, darkest nightmare.

Shouldn't you move to Iowa or Nebraska then?

Well, I hate Washington and plan on moving out of this shit-hole and back home to Michigan this summer. The only reason I'm here now is because of my wife's job.

You know that Bellingham is the American capital for seriel killers. A lot of the famous ones passed through there at one time or another. Kind of like the hills of Pennsylvania for QBs.

There's one bar there that claims that like at least four of them have frequented the joint.

My most vivid memory of Bellingham is rain, lots and lots of rain. Not a great way to spend a Spring Break...

It's also the capital for dirty bums. They sit on every corner with signs that say "Disabled Vet", "Stranded", "Anything Helps", etc, yet it's been the same guys and girls for the entire year I've been here. They never move. I've had it out with a couple drunk one's who banged on my wife's window on her way home from work. The cops in town say there's nothing they can do because the town is run by hippies and far left-wing WWU graduates. This morning I went to pay my electric bill and some junky got up in my face saying "I'll guess your age and wieght for a dollar.", but I just said "I'll save you the trouble: 29 and 178."

This place is a cesspool. This whole state seems to be (although I liked eastern Washington near the Idaho border, since it reminded me of home).
