Bah, Computer Assistance (2nd SATA Hard Drive)
Ok, so i got my SATA cable today and plugged in my 2nd hard drive.
I boot up, nothing, don't see the sucker. I restart and go into BIOS, it lists my 2nd HD as OFF, so I switch it to Auto (the only other option) and reboot. When the comp reboots it gives me the "new hardware found icon" in the system tray, I open up device manager and check, and now it's listed, but I still don't have anything in "my computer, ya know C: D: etc, It isn't listed. I click properties on both HD's in the device manager and it lists them both as being located in 0 (0) Is that something funky? I'm hoping it's just an issue of clicking something to get this thing visible, anybody have any insight? |

IF the 2nd harddrive shows up in the BIOS, then go to Disk Management (Right click on my computer, click on manage, it is an option) and see if you can partition your new drive.
