I'm guessing teams that have long history of winning and star players to have played for them over the years.

Packers
Bears
49ers
Colts
Steelers

No thats not really an order.

3. Packers
4. Falcons
5. Cowboys

A lot of people are with the newest 'in' thing which is why Big Ben's jersey was the #1 selling jersey this year (last I checked), so I put the Steelers up there. Pats have the recent SBs, Packers have the Favre/Labeau thing, Falcons have the Vick experience, Cowboys because they are America's Team

Falcons are tempting with Vick, but even with Vick I don't think they compare to the extended fan bases that these other teams have.

And the answer is ........drumroll............

1. Dallas Cowbowys (9.3%)
2. Oakland Raiders (6.3%)
3. San Francisco 49ers (6.0%)
4. Green Bay Packers (4.6%)
5. Pittsburgh Steelers (3.7%)

We had no winner, so unfortunately the grand prize of all expenses paid trip to this year's superbowl will not be given away. It looks like the closest guess was TheLionKing. He picked the five teams but missed the order.

Here is the source:

"For the first time in a decade, a TNS Sport poll concludes that no individual team is the favorite of over 10 percent of the fan base.

Despite back-to-back Super Bowl wins and the chance at a third looming, the New England Patriots are the favorite team of less than 3 percent of NFL fans. The Dallas Cowboys still lead the pack as "America's team" at 9.3 percent; the Oakland Raiders are at 6.3 percent; the San Francisco 49ers (despite this season's performance) at 6 percent; the Green Bay Packers at 4.6 percent; and the Patriot-defeated Pittsburgh Steelers at 3.7 percent."

Raiders (Oakland fans, L.A. fans, & all the guys who wear silver & black because it's "cool")
Cowboys (America's team)
Packers (Lombardi=Winning/SBtrophy...)
Redskins (The southerners always seemed to love their skins...)
40 Whiners (Montana.)

The rest, and why...

Detroit (William Clay Ford bought out his partners in 1960, three years removed from 3 championships in 5 years. None since)
Chicago (Other than the Superbowl shuffle, everybody hates the bears)
Vikings (Randy Moss)
Seahags (Outside of Seattle, nobody cares)
Rams (Mike Martz, & Outside of St. Louis... see above)
Cards (Most fun was in the 1st "Buddy Ball" season)
Nawlins (Aint's?)
Tampa (Starting to miss the creamsicle look...)
Hotlanta (Win something.)
Car'lina (Outside of Charlotte...)
Gints (Good fan base, but don't even have all of NYC)
J-E-T-S (see Gints, but eliminate the fan base part)
Miami (South Fl, and that's it)
Buffalo (Scott Norwood)
Chefs (Rabid fans in KC, outside nobody cares)
Denver (Bring back Bronco orange)
Chargers (We want Powder Blue!)
Blitzberg (Haven't come close to '70s glory)
Cleveland (When are they getting a new team again?)
Bungles (LOL)
Ravens (Loved in Ballimoe, even if most fans would rather have Colts back)
Colts (Belong in Ballimoe)
Tennessee (Local fans, but not much elsewhere)
Houston (Oilers fans... I mean Texicans...)
Jax (too new. win something)
Pats (Outside of Old New England)
Philly (Watch how light the bandwagon gets on monday)

I'd like to see which five teams are the least popular (not most hated) nationwide. The Jaguars, Panthers, and Cardinals are the first to come to mind.
