Catch up on season two there. For season three I am not going to add new recruits. I figure it'll be best to hold off until next season (sorry guys), but this just makes it easier. But lets meet our studmuffins. |

Travis Elkin - Georgia
LAST YEAR
#56 ILB Travis Elkin 6'3, 232 (+2 LBS) RED SHIRT 35/96 Rating Biggest Strength: Interceptions Biggest Weakness: Zone Defense THIS YEAR #56 ILB Travis Elkin 6'3, 238 lbs (+6) Fourth on depth chart 51/96 Rating (+16) Biggest Strength: Interceptions Biggest Weakness: Rushing the Passer Last year Travis was red shirted and he hit the weight room some. He will have a hard time cracking the Georgia 3-4 D at ILB right now as they are anchored by two seniors in Leslie Graham (82/87) and Edwin McCormick (69/69). Just in front of Travis is another senior, Reuben Hampton (59/83). As Travis progresses through the year though, expect him to become the #1 backup and with an injury, crack the starting lineup. |

He'll work in a solid rotation along with junior JC Fogle (46/85) and senior Charlie Terry (44/100) to provide Oklahoma with a nice stop gap up the middle, though Mike might not see many rushing downs if he can't control the run better. |

LAST YEAR
#7 WR Rob Nielsen 6'1, 203 lbs (+12) RED SHIRT 53/76 Rating Biggest Strength: Catching in Traffic Biggest Weakness: Kick Returning 3 GS, 13 Catches, 266 Yards, 2 TD THIS YEAR #7 WR Rob Nielsen 6'1, 206 lbs (+3) #1 WR 58/77 Rating (+5/+1) Biggest Strength: Catching in Traffic Biggest Weakness: Getting Open Last year, UCLA had to pull their Red Shirt off of Rob when they lost a few WR to injury. Rob had two games of over 100 yards in the three he played, and showed he is going to be an awesome college WR. This year Jonathan Ortiz (59/100) is academically ineligible, so Rob Nielsen will lead a young cast of Wide Outs into a tough Pac 10. He's predicted 70 catches and 1100 yards this year, but will he be right? |

This year all of the suspended backs from last are off the team, and no one is even close to Al in terms of ratings. This is his job to lose, and chances are he won't. He does however need a breakout campaign, so 1,000 yards will have to be a must for him this season. |

We also brought in a new OC who has worked with the Single Back Formation for 12 seasons. With the development of our younger guys and a new OC, we hope Trippi can make it 22 TD and 15 INT because hey, even we are realistic. |

6'1", 193 (+13) RED SHIRT 34/95 Rating Biggest Strength: Third Down Conversions Biggest Weakness: Catching the Ball Michigan is rather loaded at Wide Out, but of their four top guys right now, three are seniors and one is a junior. Larry will be their #3 WR most likely next year, though a good year of development could make him the #2. Needless to say, Michigan is going to love this kid. |

#19 QB Colton Mayes
6'1", 191 (+10) RED SHIRT 10/100 Rating Biggest Strength: Timing Recievers Biggest Weakness: Medium Passing Make no bones about it, Colton is the best QB the Falcons have, but for now he'll develope on the bench. Next year he will start what is likely to be four years as their starting QB. Air Force still likes to run the ball a lot, but Mayes should open up their offense quite a bit when he gets behind center. Plus, he is a deadly play action attack man. |

5'10", 205 (+18) RED SHIRT 50/52 Rating Biggest Strength: Third-down Running Biggest Weakness: Kick Returning Wow, Dean bulked up a lot. He's now basically a tank out there. His future looks a bit skewed at 52, but his current of 50 makes him a good back already. Miami is absolutely LOADED at RB but again, most of their studs are all going to be gone in two years. Dean will red shirt this year, and be most likely their #2 or #3 back. |

He right now is their third best DB as a true freshman, and if given playing time right now, would become their #1 DB by their sixth game. He is just an absolute monster. McGillcuddy vs Butts in the Big 10 is going to be some amazing football to watch in a few years. I will keep checking on him because I think that Red Shirt will be pulled. |

WEEK 1: Games
Mississippi State Bulldogs @ Duke Blue Devils
Duke takes us 38-36 in triple OT. Trippi goes 23 for 32 for 222 yards, 3 TD and 1 INT. He's also sacked 6 times. A solid performance though, even in a losing effort. Texas A&M Aggies @ Notre Dame Fighting Irish TV 3 The Aggies win 24-17, and Al Mighty only gets 4 carries, yet runs for 32 yards. Stop throwing the ball Notre Dame, you're idiots. Georgia, UCLA and Oklahoma are all idle week. |

WEEK 2: Games
Mississippi State Bulldogs @ Sacremento
Mississippi State wins it 17-10 with 2 seconds list as Charlie Trippi rumbles in from one yard out for the game winning TD. Trippi: 10 of 26, 116 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT, 1 TD rushing Georgia Bulldogs @ Michigan Wolverines TV 4 Georgia goes into Ann Arbor and wins 24-21. Travis Elkin however doesn't get into the game today as it was too close for them to risk playing a 19 year old freshman over three senior backs. I wouldn't expect this to be a common theme though. UCLA Bruins @ Notre Dame Fighting Irish Rob Nielsen said he'd be a big time player, and he didn't lie. In his fourth career start, Nielsen was named game MVP in the 38-14 thumping of the Irish. Rob had 8 grabs for 141 yards and 2 scores. Al Mighty had 16 rushes but for only 28 yards, but he did have 5 catches for 41. It didn't matter, UCLA is too good for Notre Dame right now. South Florida @ #22 Oklahoma Sooners .. Oklahoma won .. 94-14. Mike Ritschel played sparingly in the blowout, though he did have 1 solo tackle and 3 assists. It wasn't even funny, as it was 59-10 at the half. |

WEEK 3: Games
Memphis Tigers @ Mississippi Bulldogs
We lost 41-14 and continue to suck. Trippi was decent, going 13 for 34 for 265 with 2 TD and 2 INT. Well, barely decent I guess. Clemson Tigers @ #9 UCLA Bruins Wow. Clemson comes into LA and beats the Bruins 28-20. Nielsen has a solid day, catching 4 balls for 90 yards, but it he is held out of the endzone. I thought UCLA would get playing for the NC, now it looks like that may not happen without some luck. #1 Oklahoma @ Tulsa Oklahoma destroys Tulsa 56-0. Ritschel is held statless in the game, but he didn't play much as all the starters were gone by the half. Oklahoma is well on its way to a three peat. Notre Dame Fighting Irish @ Michigan Wolverines Michigan wins 31-10, as the Irish start another season 0-3. Al runs 25 times for 67 yards, so finally it looks like the Irish are wisening up to their best offensive weapon. It's about time. Georgia is idle. |

WEEK FOUR: Games
#9 Auburn Tigers @ #1 Oklahoma Sooners
GAME OF THE WEEK Well, it wasn't quite the game of the week because OU ran Auburn out of the building, 40-10. Ritschel doesn't get any stats again, and plays limited time for some reason, but JC Fogle is hurt now, so maybe Ritschel will get a better shot. [/b]Purdue Boilermakers @ Notre Dame Fighting Irish[/b] And Notre Dame pulls a game off, 28-24. Al Mighty had an excellent game, rushing 16 times for 122 yards and 3 TD's, plus 2 receptions for 50 yards. His biggest run though was a 12 yard TD run with 35 seconds left for the win. Nice job, Al! Toledo Rockets @ UCLA Bruins 45-7 bashing of the Rockets, and UCLA is now 2-1. Nielsen has 1 catch for 10 yards, but was pulled after the half when UCLA was up 35-0. Not even a contest. Louisana-Lafayette @ #5 Georgia Bulldogs 77-0 rout. Travis Elkin had 2 solo tackles and an assist in the whomping. Georgia looks to be a team who'll do some damage themselves this year. Mississsippi State is idle. |

I *am* God! Of course he told me not to go to class. I'm too busy knocking up coeds, and perfecting my end zone dances.
Edit: If I ever get back in the damn end zone! Where's a real quarterback when we need one! In fact, hell with the quarterback. I'll throw to myself. The only classes I need are the ones involving smiling and holding up my 1st round draft pick jersey. Last edited by Coffee Warlord : 01-05-2005 at 03:25 PM. |

Mississippi State Bulldogs @ Vanderbilt
We lose another one, 38-20, as Trippi goes 13 for 32 for 223 yards with a TD and an 2 INT. We still have faith in him though. Or else he'll die. #10 Oregon Ducks @ #22 UCLA Bruins Oregon was all over UCLA, spanking them to the tune of 45-22. Joel Strong, UCLA's QB only complete 7 passes. Rob Nielsen still managed to snag 3 of them for 39 yards but was held out of the endzone again. He was livid and made comparisons between Strong and Jeff Garcia. UH OH! Notre Dame, Georgia and Oklahoma are idle. |

#9 Kansas State @ #1 Oklahoma Sooners
GAME OF THE WEEK It was a battle, but with no time left, K State hit a FG to win 34-31. Mike Ritschel had two tackles today in what proved to be an epic. Still, Oklahoma loses early and has a shot at going for the three peat. #3Georgia Bulldogs @ #24 LSU Tigers TV 4 Another close one, but LSU Squeaks out with a 28-27 win in Death Valley. Travis Elkin doesn't see any action in this one either, as the game was too close to start experimenting late. Dissappointing still for the Bulldogs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish @ Western Michigan Broncos Notre Dame pulls out the vicotry 31-27 to go to 2-3 for the year. Al Mighty was named MVP, his first time ever. He ran 19 times for 71 yards and also had 4 catches for 65. No TD's but he moved the ball well for the Irish in what was a huge win for them. UCLA and Mississippi State are idle. |

WEEK SEVEN: Games
Arkansas Razorbacks @ Mississippi State Bulldogs
We lose a tough one, 31-24 to the bastard Razorbacks. Trippi's accuracy is still a problem, as he goes 13 for 28 for 185 yards, 1 TD and 3 INT. He's still only a sophmore, but if he doesn't breakout soon, we're gonna be in for some problems down the line. #2 Oklahoma Sooners @ Texas Tech Red Raiders TV3 Oklahoma rebounded nicely with a 51-10 pasting of the Red Raiders. Mike Ritschel had his first QB Sack of the year, to go along with two solo tackles. Oklahoma, even with that loss, is still #2 in the country, so for now they are sitting pretty for a shot to defend their crown. UCLA Bruins @ Arizona Wildcats UCLA smokes the Wildcats, 41-16, and Rob Nielsen has another huge game with 3 grabs for 101 yards and 2 TD's. This kid could be the best deep threat in the country because all of his catches seem to be for huge yardage. The Bruins now move to 3-2 in the solid Pac-10. South Carolina Gamecocks @ #17 Georgia Bulldogs Georgia wins 42-6, but sadly Elkin doesn't seen any PT. Those whores, I ought to destroy them for that. Temple Owels @ Notre Dame Fighting Irish The Irish blank Tample 34-0. Al Mighty runs the ball 14 times for 97 yards and a TD, and also adds 6 catches for 64 yards to even up the Irish at 3-3 for the year. |

#9 Washington State Cougars @ #25 UCLA Bruins
TV 4 UCLA knocks off the 5-0 Cougars 24-21 with a FG in the last minute. Rob Nielsen had only 2 grabs but for 47 yards, once again proving he is a big time player, he just needs to get more balls his way. Joel Strong can't wait until he graduates. Notre Dame Fighting Irish @ Navy Midshipmen TV4 Another close one, but once again Notre Dame wins it, this time 38-31 in OT on a game winning TD reception by Game MVP Al Mighty. Al ran 16 times for 68 yards, but also had 7 catches for 76 yards and that TD. Dual threat for sure, this kid could have a big NFL future if he keeps it up. #13 Georgia Bulldogs @ Kentucky Wildcats Georgia wins 50-7. Travis Elkin gets in long enough to get an assist, but sadly it's nothing to write home about. Mississippi State and Oklahoma are idle. |

TV 5 We were lopped, 51-10. Trippi goes 10 for 18 for 151 with a TD and an INT before getting pulled before he got murdered out there. Travis Elkin doesn't get involed in the route. I bet he's peeved. #19 UCLA Bruins @ Oregon State Beavers TV 5 UCLA wins another close won, this one on the road, 21-18 over the Beavers of Oregon State. Nielsen has a solid day with 5 grabs for 69 yards, but no scores. No matter, UCLA is now 5-2 and looking good. #4 Oklahoma Sooners @ Kansas Jayhawks OU wins 73-7. They just light teams up. Ritschel has a solo tackle and a half of a sack in the win. I cannot see OU losing twice. Notre Dame is idle. |

#13 LSU Tigers @ Mississippi State
TV 5 41-10 thumpage. Trippi goes 17/34 for 244 with 1 TD and 4 INT. We suck. Bad. HARDCORE. #4 Oklahoma Sooners @ Texas A&M Aggies TV 4 Oklahoma wins 59-31, Ritschel doesn't play. A good game early, but OU is too much for the AGgies down the stretch. Vanderbilt @#9 Georgia Bulldogs TV 4 Georgia only wins 31-10. Surprising. Travis Elkin, much like Ritschel, doesn't see any PT today. This will again all change next year. Arizona State @#19 UCLA Bruins TV 5 UCLA wins ANOTHER close one, this time 20-17. Rob Nielsen has 2 catches for 31 yards, and ends up being leading reciever, as Strong only completes 9 passes for 97 yards. This will not do for Rob. NOT AT ALL! Notre Dame Fighting Irish @ BYU Cougars Another close game for the Irish, as they pull off a 27-24 win on the road, for their fourth straight victory, highlighted by a GW FG with 0:00 left. Al Mighty is once again game MVP, this time rushing 27 times for 123 yards and a TD, as well as having 5 catches for 58 yards. Another damn solid week. |

We lose 49-14, and we lose Trippi to back surgery for 27 weeks. His year is done. I hate Florida. #7 Georgia Bulldogs @ Alabama Crimson Tide TV 4 UGA wins 24-14. Travis Elkin gets a solo tackle. A win/win! #20 Illinois Fighting Illini @ Notre Dame Fighting Irish The Illini end the Irishes winning streak with a 34-23 win. Al Mighty has a decent game, running 15 times for 60 yards, along with 3 catches for 37 more. Still, Notre Dame is now 5-4, and needs one more W for sure to be bowl eligible. Iowa State Cyclones @#3 Oklahoma Sooners OU wins 65-0. Ritschel has another solo tackle and a half a sack in the victory. In the time he does get in, he makes a mark, thats for sure. #16 UCLA Bruins @ Cal Bears Another close one, UCLA wins 17-9. Nielsen has 3 more catches for 40 yards, but once again doesn't score. UCLA needs a new QB. He's awful. BOO! |

#6 Georgia Bulldogs @ #13 Tennessee Volunteers
TV 2 Georgia wins 21-17 with a TD pass with 4 minutes left to improve to 8-1. Travis Elkin once again doesn't get any stats, but the Bulldogs are on the fast track to the SEC Title Game if they can beat Florida. #15 UCLA Bruins @ #17 Washington Huskies TV 3 UCLA gets thrashed, 48-7. Their D which had been stellar all year didn't show up and they paid for it. Neilsen is held to one catch for 8 yards. Joel Strong goes 4 for 17 for 26 yards. Baylor @#3 Oklahoma Sooners OU wins 51-3. Mike Ritschel has one tackle and one sack on the day. He's going to be a pass rush monster when he starts getting full games in. Oklahoma cannot be stopped. #3 Oklahoma Sooners vs #2 Texas Longhorns
GAME OF THE WEEK RED RIVER SHOOTOUT Oh wow. Texas LIT up Oklahoma to the tune of 30-7. Mike Ritschel sees some time in his first RRS and records a sack, but UT gets the win and now moves to with the Big 12 title game with a shot to play for the NC. #1 Florida Gators @ #5 Georgia Bulldogs TV 2 Florida gets a TD with 39 seconds left to upend Georgia 31-24 and make their way to the SEC Title Game. Florida vs Texas is looking to be your NC unless one of them stumble badly in their title games. Travis Elkin once again is held off of the stat sheet. UConn @ Notre Dame Fighting Irish Some how .. Some way .. Notre Dame finds a way to blow it in the fourth and lose to UConn (who was 2-8) 28-27. Al Mighty had another fine day, rushing for 124 yards on 23 carries, and 3 catches for 28 yards and a TD. Never the less, Notre Dame must beat BC next week to even dream of a bowl game. |

Without him scoring, UCLA is nothing. Mark that down. NOTHING. Boston College Screaming Eagles @ Notre Dame Fighting Irish TV 4 Notre Dame rolls over and gets smashed at home 35-10. Al Mighty rushes 16 times for 42 yards vs a potent BC D. ND had no business even scoring in this game. They're pathetic. Gorgia Tech Yellow Jackets @ #10 Georgia Bulldogs TV 5 UGA wins 31-23.
