Strange FOF thing

Using 5.1b, I took advantage of the option to have an injured QB (my typical starter) listed as 3rd on the depth chart.

During the course of the game, both of the other slugs at QB got hurt, so my LT moved behind center and completed one of the two passes he threw for 3 yards.

Has anyone had that happen?

BTW, I think it's cool, I'm not complaining.

WOW. Never seen anything like that. Never heard of anything like that either. I would assume that a punter or kicker or even a wideout or CB to take over as the emergency QB.

he's got skills!

Intersting. I also would think a kicker would step in there, but I don't think anyone's going to succeed behing an O-line that is apparently that bad.

Maybe it was Jarod Lorenzo, or however you spell his name, that giant of a QB from Kentucky ;- )

Don't I remember somebody saying that every player is rated in every area, but the only ratings we see are the ones relevant to the position the player is listed at? Perhaps your LT simply had the highest passing-relevant ratings of any of your non-QBs?

I always wondered what would happen, now I know. This just strengthens my desire to have universal player ratings in the game to measure all-around athletic skills.

Talk about a tackle-eligible play!

I bet he still had more mobility than Scott Mitchell...

BTW... was this one of the wonderful 6ft 280 pound OT's?

I can imagine this now. Huge 330lbs LT/QB runs a naked bootleg, then flips the ball to a WR on the outside before ramming full speed into and absolutley decimating the pansy CB covering the WR.

No, he's 300+, but apparently a very accurate-throwing 300+.

I wish we would have ended the game with the ball so he could have taken a knee and piled up some rushing stats. I'm going to check the log to see if he picked up a key run block while playing QB.

On a less than strange note but maybe unique, since I like to use TE's as back-up FB's, my 2nd and 3rd string TE's end up with rushing stats most years as well.

Im not a fan of TE's getting rushing stats.

I think thats unrealistic.
