Advice Needed: Running FTP From My Machine
I'd like to be able to easily share things off of my computer, Is there a way I can set up an FTP program to allow people to access my machine with minimum additional security risks? I did some looking around last night but I didn't understand crap.

LOL, not exactly what I was thinking, but i've got a bunch of friends who are diehard Howard Stern fans and we all have a mess of shows and crap, and i'd like to be able to get the stuff to them easily and vice versa. But yeah, if you wanna download Chinas clitorapenis I wouldn't mind. ![]() |

When I want to FTP I set up GuildFTP on my PC. I have it set up to only accept connections from 1 certain IP address, in this case the one that work uses, so that I can access stuff on my home pc from work. Also have it set up with a username/password, as far as I know that's about as secure as you can make FTP be.
