This is why we need to stop Saddam!
"If the U.S. imperialists ignite a war on the Korean Peninsula, the war will turn into a nuclear war," Rodong said. "As a consequence, the Koreans in the north and south and the people in Asia and the rest of the world will suffer horrifying nuclear disasters."
Like Saddam is better than this guy? Stop as many madmen as possible BEFORE they are able to make threats like this. Tarkus

Of course, that is just one persons opinion. Or it could be rhetoric, intended to scare people. Or posturing. Some things should be taken with a grain of salt, like when Kruschev said "We will bury you." We didn't fly over and take him out...we let him do it to himself.

Couldn't it also be said that going into a war in Iraq could turn our war on terrorism into a holy war?
When haven't we stopped Saddam? When have we stopped North Korea? I'd say there is a larger chance of NK selling their nuclear weapons than Saddam even acquring them. |

Curious to know where that quote comes from.
DEFINITELY sounds of something from the East, or at least somewhere in opposition of the U.S.'s current stance. Quote:
No bias at all in there.

How about instead of using NK to justify Iraq, we actually deal with NK before they obliterate Seoul? Oh yeah, I forgot since Clinton talked to NK Bush can't. Damn it.

Yea, we have NK stopping our planes in international airspace and we're worried about Saddam? The NKs are threatening nuclear war and we're worried about Saddam? I just don't get it. I still believe that Bush's vendetta against Saddam is of a personal nature. |

North Korean leader Kim Jong Il is a lunatic. i heard an interview with some Korean guy on the radio this morning saying that Kim things it is normal to say one thing then totally go back on it later. he also said that Kim believes the events in films such as Rambo are based on real life.
the guy is flat out nuts. |

If the war is really about weapons of mass destruction, we should be much more worried about NK than Iraq.
