On behalf of Armor Company A, let me state that I fully understand the pressing nature of real life. I'd like to propose to the rest of the battalion that we cut DataKing substantial slack with the timing of this dynasty. I'd rather have a periodic quality experience than a stressful situation for him.

To paraphrase Jack Nicholson's character in A Few Good Men:

"DataKing, if this dynasty doesn't get updated on a daily basis, I'm going to blame you. Then I'm going to kill you." Not!

While I admire spunk in a junior officer, I have to lay down the law here. Let it be known that B Company Armor, hereafter to be known as The Broadswords, will never fail to answer the call of a brother Marine, regardless of the resemblance of said brother Marine to the backside of a festering pile of snot.

Hey I want in on this, I'm a WWII nut, and a historian to boot. Gimmie an armor platoon if there's one left, and if not, lemme fling some mortars!

Ah heck, if these knuckleheads can handle this then so can I. Sign me up for a lieutenant position with one of the armor companies.

Ah, look sachmo, now here's a couple of boys with some sense! Looks like we've fleshed out our commands.

Armor Company A is hereby dubbed Fire & Ice. We light it up with icewater in our veins. Bring it on, Tojo!

And I'll remind everyone, the Solomon Island 500 will be taking place next Sunday, Sunday, Sunday. Heavily favored is Lt Flunky, driving the #3 Stuart Tank, won in a poker game by the infamous Meat Grinder company.

What about my #13 puke green Stuart Tank. Whats the odds of me winning. I might put a bet down for this maybe a tank or two.

An infantry solider can beat any tank in a jungle/beach race...tanks are good in lowlands, they don't do turkey squat in jungles...

Okay boys, we're ready to rock and roll.

I've started a new thread for the actual dynasty. It's called The FOFC Brigade - Chapter One: Rain and Blood

SIR!, Considering I cut the fuel line on Superman's Tank (along with every other tank not driven by LT. Flunky) I'd say it's about 1,000,000 to 1. However, I'll post him as a prohibitive favorite say 3 to 1 so we can cash in big.

Bet BIG on our guy...It's a sure thing.
