I am getting an error message ecery time I try to start a game using this new player file. Anyone have a clue why?

It says FOF has encountered an unexpected error and must shut down- funny thing is, when I use the player file included with FOF, there's no problem

did you make any edits to the player file? That is the error you get when you accidentally enter an out of range value (e.g., type in 255 instead of 25 for a cornerback's position). If not, I don't know what the problem would be. Good luck.

this latest update still has players in the wrong positions...

there several players that got new extension salaries this year...if not change they wil be free agents in the game

Is there a way to edit Champ Bailey's contract? One year, he is making $90,000,000 for 1 season, I believe year 6. I mean, he is good, but......

the default player file 5.1a that jim release today its fix..Bailey contact is fix for year #6


primelord realplayer file for 5.1a is not releaseed yet. that why it dont show up correctly...


just get primelord last real player file and copy the last name and first name and paste it over the last name and first name of the default file of 5.1a

i am sure there will be one coming soon for 5.1a...but if you dont want to wait, just pm me your email and i do it for you..

but how to do it. you just open the .csv file of primelord last realplayer file that he release in Excel and press the column letter that has the last name, the whole column should be highlighted, then right click and choose copy..than open the default .csv fof2004playerfile that came with 5.1a and do the same as above but this time you choose paste and say yes..

then go back and do the same thing for first name..

then correct the positions that stil not corrected on 5.1a

then save the .csv file and then use the player file generator that comes with the game and choose 2004 and choose the .csv file you save and create the .fdt file..

Dadgummit. Another problem. The file name had changed slightly, and I didn't notice it. If you downloaded the "updated" file before 3:39pm on Thursday, 12/2, you have the wrong file. I have now changed it to the truly updated file.

With no option for setting the inital salary cap in the included fictional player generator, I halfed all of the salaries in the real player name .csv file and have posted a new .fdt file with a $40,300,000 salary cap if anyone wants it: http://s92878788.onlinehome.us/realplayershalf.fdt

yes you can set the intial salary cap in the player file generator...its 80.6 mil on default...but you allow to change it to any amount you want

If you did that alone, then all the teams would be over the cap. In this case by some $40 million. Disaster would ensue in the first offseason .
