But the Rams the next season could have handled the Falcons. They would have jumped on the Falcons early, and their defense which was better than the Vikes would have held them. Or the 2001 team could have done it, one of the best teams to have not won the Super Bowl.

Atlanta definitely had the worst offense of the three and St. Louis had the best defense. However, in the tournament, none of these teams ever met one another, so Atlanta is more the "survivor" of this event than the "best team". For the record, the 2002 Bucs had a 346-196 scoring ratio, not bad until you consider that both the 2000 Ravens and Titans were better, ratio-wise. The Titans had a 346-191 ratio, while the Ravens were 333-165. |
