Vote for FOFC's Hattrick Representative

This is only for FOFCers who are in Hattrick.

If you've applied for a team, but havn't received it yet, you are eligible to vote.

Only list one person.

To vote, PM me, and I will calculate the votes to see who we will be voting for once the Hattrick election comes sometime around March 31st.

The reason we are not using this board's poll application is so that people who are not in Hattrick will not vote.

The winner of the FOFC voting will be who everyone here will vote for once the actual Hattrick election comes around March 31st. If we don't all vote for the same person, then the voice of FOFC will not be heard.

Our current nominees are listed below. Feel free to insert a write-in vote.

HornedFrog Purple
DataKing

Voting for our FOFC Representative will end, Monday, March, 3.

Only vote if you are a part of Hattrick or have applied for a team

If you would like to join Hattrick and have yet to do so, go here.

Well I will not vote obviously but if you read the other thread you know who I would vote for.

I want to run as Secretary-General of the 4-5-1 under the administration.

We are up to 12 voters now. I won't give the exact numbers but I will say that DataKing is leading on HornedFrog Purple currently.

I did appreciate the gesture, however. As previously mentioned, if my schedule allowed it, I'd love to. 8 months from now, I'm all over it.

Why is there all this secrecy? Seems like the whole vote could have been conducted publicly with people simply saying their hattrick id to prevent non registered people from voting. Regrardless this secrecy seems to serve no purpose as far as I can see, but perhas I am just missing something.

One big positive, I'd say, is in attempting to keep Vex's sanity. I can't even try to imagine trying to keep a running count with people adding their vote to the thread.

On the real, i have the worst hattrick team in my division..(v.33 i believe)

Corinthian Montalbans has scored 7 goals in 9 games.

They have given up 43.

I couldn't believe you "hired" me. Surely you didn't think I'd help you "win".

This election is just to see who FOFC will be voting for in the Hattrick U-20 coach elections March 31st(approx.)

Then if somehow, in our wildest dreams DataKing, it's looking like, won the entire Hattrick election, then he would be the USA U-20 coach and would be responsible for beating Sverige, Canada, and Denmark

And since in the USA there are 2,700 teams, this would carry with it a great deal of prestige for both DataKing(or Horned) and FOFC.

Even if we lose, however, the Hattrick community will now that from now on FOFC will be a force to be reckoned with.

And the press conferece where you tried to gnaw off DK's ear wasn't too slick either.

Not to sound negative, but if we could only get 22 people to vote here, we are going to need some serious 'get out and vote' campaining to make a dent in the HT community.

I for one did not vote in this thread because I just recently started hattrick and had no idea who was better for the job so I was just letting the other more experienced players decide that then I was going to vote for that person when that time came around the end of march.

Hey now, we have 24 votes as of now (2 more for DK)

That's only half(almost) of what we need in the HT election, so everyone needs to step it up come voting time.

We're still missing a number of the active HT owners, so I'm not too worried, yet.

The U-20 club is currently losing 3-nil in the second half to The Netherlands...

Looks like some new leadership is in order.

DataKing, represent us well.

Everyone else, please lend your support to DataKing. Make sure that everyone knows DataKing is running. HT-email the teams in your division, region, and any other HT friends you might have. Even if you don't know them, it wouldn't hurt to tell them.

Here is DataKing's Hattrick info in case you don't know:

If you have Supporter, make sure you bookmark his club.

DataKing, get your acceptance speech ready

Most importantly, remember to vote. It only takes 3 clicks to vote.

Voting will be a little after March 31st.

When does everyone think we should start posting DataKing for U-20 coach on the conf. board? Or is that now taboo?

Personally, I think it would be in rather poor taste to start talking about the upcoming U-20 election while we're still alive in the World Cup. It's probably best to wait until the Cup is over, or at least until the U.S. is eliminated.

And thanks to all of you who voted for me. I'll do my best to represent FOFC with pride.
