Kordell Stewart done in Pittsburgh

Not a big surprise, but here is a link:

I am not sure Maddox is the answer either, despite his fine play last season.

I would think they'll draft a QB in the first 2 rounds. Maddox doesn't seem like a wise long-term solution.

I really, really hope Stewart finds a job as a shoe salesman or something instead of a NFL QB that he has been pretending to be.

I'm really scared to see what team is crazy enough to give him a shot at a starting job. Personally I think he should head north to the CFL and become a legend there. I'm tired of him here.

I think I remember reading something where he said he's a legit NFL starting QB.

I think he should have stuck to WR. I thought that when he got drafted.

Even a severe mentally challenged man can live under the delusion that he's a legit NFL starting QB and it would be the same analogy.

In thinking back on my extreme opposite likes/dislikes point, there is someone out there in the world that thinks Stewart is the greatest QB of all time (besides Stewart himself) - and I have to accept that opinion, as hard as it to do.

I don't know. He's awfully mobile.

Kordell isn't that terrible. He is for sure, nothing great, but I can think of at least two or three teams where he would be a definite upgrade to their current QB. I don't think he will ever be 'the answer' for his team, but he could be a decent stop-gap for a team that needs to focus elsewhere before getting their end-all QB.

Good god. QB's have to be able to run the offense he is assigned too. Stewart was never able to run Cowher's offense until they simplified it. (Throw to the guy in the black shirt.)

Can he run, maybe. Is he an NFL QB? No.
