TCY-- A return specialist

In the (FOF)NFL I always designate my 5th WR position as my Return specialist. In TCY I have never really paid much attention to who is returning my kick for me.

Always looking for that extra edge I have turned my sights to my return yardage. Looking over my stats I keep it looks like my returners are also my starters. No specialist here. What are your thoughts on this? Is it better to try and develop a Return Specialist Or, is it better to use your backups as returners so they get playtime and forget about the actual boost in yardage.

The thing I love about TCY is the fact that players have to see "game time" experience to fully develop.

Heh ... we are out here, we just don't look at this forum much.

For me, I usually go with the players with the best rating, unless it's a starter that I really can't afford to lose to injury. If it's really close between a starter and a backup, I guess I'm more likely to go with the backup to get him some PT and protect the starter's health. I don't really analyze those stats too often, but if I do notice that one guy is really sucking it up, I'll make a change.

I usually like to take a cb to do the return duty, they don't seem to get injured as often as wrs.
