I don't mind the fact that they've got filters on the 'Net access at Best Buy.
What I DO mind is the fact that some of those filters make it difficult to do my job. Case in point, a lady came in last night looking for a CD. She didn't know who it was from, she didn't know what the name of the CD was, she just knew five words from one of the songs. Google returned a few lyrics matches, but the ones that looked the most promising were blocked by the filter, so we lost a sale because we couldn't confirm that it was the right song. ¬_¬ |

Nah, the filter didn't block it based on the lyrics themselves, but rather because the site they were on fell into the "music" category.
Makes perfect sense, right? |

What I hate about my new job is that the woman I work for can't speak correct English. How many boxes do I pick up when you say "these box"? And don't fucking chew on candy and smack it in your mouth... no one wants to hear that.
That and the woman I work next to is a complete idiot. I'll do my "why we need welfare" rant another day, but it is specifically for these idiots. |
