Alcohol Without Liquid

has anyone heard of this "alcohol without liquid," or AWOL?

just saw something about it on the news. apparently, you just inhale alcohol fumes to get drunk, and dont drink anything. no calories, no weight gain, i guess. anyone tried this?

the report says its big in europe, and coming to nyc and florida extremely soon.

and it can be rented out for parties. how bizarre.

Well, it's better than the injecting pure alchohol via shared needles idea I had.

I think a friend of mine accidentally got drunk without drinking anything when he tried distilling some Mad Dog in his house. I guess he didn't have quite enough cooling duty on the condenser.

it takes about 20 minutes to inhale one vaporizer shot of alcohol.

I'll stick with the way i do it, that way it only takes 1 second to inhale 1 shot of alcohol. While them high tech idiots are inhaling 1 shot, i've had about 20(not work safe).

indeed, i rarely drink anymore, but when I do I drink heavily diluted everclear. Mainly b/c I don't have to drink very long to feel anything and I can put maybe 2 quick pours of it in a drink with 2 cans of coke. It tastes like crown and coke, the holy grail IMHO.

I'm fat tire fan, I don't know what makes me like it so much, if I can't have that, I'll pick up hard liquor, vodka is #1, my friend got me hooked on Captain Mo's (or as some people know it, Captian rips up your insides).

golden grain?

we had some normal 195 proof everclear last night. i stayed away, i had my own captain morgan.. but the guy who owned it had never had it, put 1 shot in a glass of grapejuice, chugged it and was quickly getting his buzz on. another guy put a shot in with his jack after he'd already been drinking, 10 minutes later he's passed out sitting up. our resident badass partier of the night took a shot of everclear, 10 seconds later was hacking it up.

good ole ec

I guess its kind of like the vaporizers that some marijuana users have used before. Except when you use a marijuana vaporizer, you only have to use a very small amount and you will get mess up very quickly.

A nice mix of a liter of vodka and a 250 of everclear got me stuck in a sink attempting to crap down a garbage disposal. I miss college.

The AWOL Vaporizer has a built-in safety device because it takes about 20 minutes to inhale one vaporizer shot of alcohol. It is not something people are going to get very drunk on.

Dola,

Put me down in the Fat Tire camp too. I don't drink beer that often, but when I do, it is usually Fat Tire.
